This looks like a Doc trade. Giving up on AJ Johnson takes a different level of idiocy than Horst has. What a moron.

I'll go one better. Khris' slipping on his sweat and hurting his knee in 2022.RubberSoul wrote:DingleJerry wrote:humanrefutation wrote:There's going to be a point, in the likely not-too-distant future, where we're watching a 25-57 Bucks team get blown out in Orlando and we're reminiscing about the Giannis years and we're debating at what precise moment it all fell apart.
I fear that this trade is that moment.
Wouldn't the Bud firing be the moment? It's been all downhill and chaos since then
Agreed with this. But if I had to point to a singular moment it was Kevin Love sliding under Giannis and Giannis hurting his back just a few minutes into the series. It all fell apart from there. I’m just glad we got one I can’t imagine if we hadn’t how depressing the ending of this era would be.

As part of the Kyle Kuzma-Khris Middleton trade, Washington will get 2028 swap rights with the Bucks' first-round pick that is already swapped with Portland, according to a league source. That means Washington can swap the lesser of the two selections. That pick is also protected 15-30 if the Blazers haven't yet conveyed their future pick to the Bulls by that time — i.e,, they can only execute the swap if they actually have the pick.
The Wizards will send back to Milwaukee the second-most favorable of its 2025 second-round picks originally belonging to Detroit, Phoenix or Golden State.

This can be and probably is true. I can also think of at least a dozen different and better trades that would have accomplished this same goal.

Not saying Khris can't get back to being Khris, but dude should have been traded a season or two ago if we're being honest. Should have been Khris instead of Jrue.

I'd be willing to bet he won't get away with that in MKE. But it is funny to see. Those are some "Last game of the day at the Y" ass shots.
