Why is Kobe in that picture after you said big shots?

Did you just accidentally put him in there instead of Ariza? I guess they kind of look the same.

SVG should have posted up Redick down the stretch in the 4th, the Lakers would still have hacked him before he could throw down a thunderous layup and then swish, swish.

Probably wouldn't have got 9 blocks, though.

Fixed.

Are you serious? I mean I know you bring jokes, but I really hope that's another one. Kobe didn't help? Whatever. Great win tonight.

No, he definitely helped. Those 31 shots on 35% shooting really helped the Magic stay in the game.

Stop being so loose Luke. You're losing me being so loose like that.

Man, Kobe is the soul. You just don't get it yet. Kobe had 32 and set the tone. Ariza had a great 2nd half as well and it was those guys who got the Lakers back in, but to imply that Kobe didn't play a huge role is just absurd to the Nth degree. Why can't you just be happy for this man? I don't get. He's worked harder than anybody in the world for this trophy. Harder than anybody in the entire world. I'll never understand people like you. How can you waste time in your life rooting against somebody? Rooting for success for all is truly honorable. It makes little sense to waste moments hating on somebody. Especially when a guy like Kobe has gone through everything to get here. He is climbing a mountain. At the top he is defeating the reincarnation of Shaquille O'Neal to earn redemption. But regardless, it was a great win for this team. I think people will remember this Finals.

I don't even know what to say to this. Stay of the metrics. There is a beautiful game you're missing.

Yeah, I totally get it. The only thing you can come up with is "Kobe is the soul", that's crap. He sucked ass tonight. Nearly cost the Lakers the game.

Kobe had 32 and set the tone.

On 31 shots. Yay, what an accomplishment!

The rest is blah, blah, blah. I personally don't care who wins but the Kobe nut hugging is ridiculous.

Right, I'll go off the stats and the eye test which say he was terrible instead of the "He's the soul! He's the leader!"

There has to be some Kobe cult somewhere for you to join.

I know he won't, but Gasol should win the finals MVP.

Flame away :P

You're seriously implying that Kobe didn't hit shots? That he played out of the flow of the game?

It's too late for this. You've completely missed the point of basketball. It has nothing to do with percentages.

This was a great win for this team of guys. Even Luke Walton got some tonight. I hope people root against your futile success as well.

It's just a pitiful attempt. Coming from you, it's disappointing to be honest.

Late in the 4th he went into a double team of Pietrus and Howard. Instead of passing he tossed up an awkward one-legged shot over both of them and missed badly. I would say that's playing out of the flow.

He has to be the one to hit the big shots for the Lakers. He has to prove he's the best (i.e. scoring the most points) and have the Lakers win the Finals so he can boost his ego when everybody says he was the best player on a championship team (i.e. scored the most points) so the media will stop saying how he needs a dominant big to win a championship.

Just my opinion on it.
