Fair. If you ever decide to get into the PC side of things there's quite a few games like CIV which are total time dump.

I'm definitely planning to build a gaming PC sometime down the road. I almost pulled the trigger last year before some unexpected financial commitments stole my thunder. Besides, there's only so much time and money I can dump into gaming at any one point, lol.

If you plan on building one and want a really good price on a moderate GPU let me know. I have an AMD Radeon 580 8GB, 580 4GB, 570 4GB and a 1050Ti 4GB that I'd be willing to ship ya.

Were you mining crypto with those graphics cards?

I probably will down the road, but I've got too much on my plate to splurge on that right now.

Yeah I think I'm going to get it for sure, I probably should just wait since I haven't played Smash at all or GTAV. I've currently been focusing on RDR2 and am only like 35% done.

New Super Mario Bros u Deluxe? I'm thinking about it. Looks more like the Mario I'd enjoy. If anything I'll probably pick it up when it goes on sale.

Or hell maybe I'll just play it on Wii U where I own it but never played it .

I was for a decent amount of time. Fortunately, they all still run stable/cool and I'm kind of a freak when it comes to keeping my components dust free (you should see the amount of compressed air I go through) so they look almost pristine.

That being said, I understand they've seen some really solid use at full load, so whatever price I'd do would be wildly lower than any other used one that wasn't mined with. At this point I don't use them as I have a 1070 on my gaming rig so they're sitting in their original packing as a paper weight. Just food for thought :D I'm always trying to bring more people over to the PC master race

I'm still a little salty that the digital games I bought on Wii U (all the old school Marios, Mario Kart, Super Metriod 2, etc.) I can't download and play on Switch.

I had it in the cart earlier today and didn't pull the trigger. How long do you guys think it will be after release before it's down to like $40?

Black Friday at earliest. Nintendo is so stingy on sales and it’s first party.

I’ll pick it up down the road for sure. I love Mario, just way too much to play right now.

Octopath is amazing. Anyone on the fence should get it while it’s on sale. I’m having so much fun.

i have a raid 0 setup on my media server with 2 1tb hds. the main hd a 320gb w/ my os took a dump and now the system wont boot. the harddrive is probably less than a year old, and only ran the os. in the bios it shows the harddrive but doenst read its volume.

theres some stuff on the raid that i want to get off.

what are my options?

RDR2
Spoiler:
The whole Cuba thing was pretty stupid. I like the freedom of being able to hunt, complete challenges, and **** around while doing a mission every so often. And they took it all away for 2 hours and added nothing to the story. And seriously, Cuba? Might as well have went to the moon.

No spoilers beyond that please. 8-)

Honestly that doesn't sound good, to the best of my knowledge you can't recover raid 0 data after a failure of one of the drives. If one fails they all fail.

i found some software that claims to do it, but i have my doubts, in addition to the fact that i dont have a working pc anymore. i could get another harddrive but i no longer have a working version of windows because im dumb. i could load linux, but then i think i can kiss that raid goodbye.

im never buying another western digital product as long as i live. and if i decide to run another media server, im going to buy proper **** rather than a bunch of free stuff i picked up from work that i half assedly put together. nothing frustrates me more than computer issues.

I want to see if you beat it, or after you play 40 some hours if you feel the same way. I’m going to try to beat the four games I have to finish (Zelda, Okami, Valkyrie Chronicles 4, and Hollow Knight) before I grab anything more. Been tempted to get Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or the DLC for Mario+Rabbids, plus I’d like to really get into Splatoon 2 more.

That’s fair. I do rarely beat anything, though, so not a good bar for me. And I may or may not already be 27 hours in.

I’m heavily into the part of the stories where people found issue with the lack of interaction. And it, personally, legit doesn’t bother me. It’s actually kind of cool how it all works, IMO. And the music, stories, quest system (you have to actually read and pay legit attention), and battle system set it so far apart of anything else recently.

It’s such a love letter. It’s beautiful.

After about my third time of losing everything I started to keep backups of everything. Especially as I got older and had more important files. Hoping the software works for you man.

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. It's one that I wanted to be great but the reviews scared me off.

I just finished RDR2 last night. It is the greatest game I have ever played and nothing even comes close.

Don’t pay too much attention to you % complete of story mode because the ending will come much faster than you think. That % is for total completion including side missions, hunting, etc.

The game is unbelievable and I’m sad that it’s over.
All posts are my own opinion.
