No Magee?
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Watching the Mavs game and now the announcers calling the game were asking when Giannis' contract is up. This is going to get incredibly annoying this year. Buckle in, boys and girls.

I've seen enough of Hommes to offer him at least a two way. He has size and his shooting under pressure was impressive. Don't let him get away. I'm serious.

No doubt. I said the same throughout the game. Gordon Heyward knew wtf he was talking about. The kid has the tools. It’s an absolute no brainer. I sign him and Bonzi up and let it rip.

Why a poor man's version? Why couldn't he end up being what Reddick brings? I get your point if you are hoping for "at least" that.

Reddick spent his first three seasons at between 8 to 17 min per game and only for partial seasons of play. 64 games being his highest involvement in three seasons. During this time he was maybe shooting 2 threes a game and hitting just under .400, collected a foul shot+ a game and hit them at a high clip and otherwise didn't do much. But a steady 6 pts a game for his minor role.

I don't see why Magee (same size player with a head for the game) couldn't be every bit as good or more and just as useful starting out and blossom into the same kind of threat with more minutes as Reddick ended up being. I think it all comes down to being on a team that will keep giving him minutes here and there, or at all. If he never gets a shot I think it's a big mistake. He showed more in college than Reddick did. I think he's proven the heart/drive factor is there. You couple that with a true top tier shooting threat skill and those guys can and do make a dent during games if you let them. People act like you need to jump out of the gym to play this league. I disagree these days. There was always room for great shooters and there is more room now than ever.

He just doesn't come off as a particularly sharp guy.

Seems like Kendrick Perkins has been on TV a lot lately. I, like most everyone else is trying to figure out why.

Hommes’ pump fake and general patience on the 3-pointer he was fouled on was impressive. Executed as if he was an 8-year vet.

I'm all in on the Hommes train. Large wing that can shoot. If he makes the roster, then he better get run

It really is astonishing to see the collection of turds ESPN has managed to collect for their on air talent for the NBA. Damon Jones, Jay Williams, Kendrick Perkins, Paul Pierce, Richard Jefferson, Ryan Hollins... stop me if I missed anyone. Just like... wtf

Way more excited for Hommes than I was with Woods! Horst earn that EOTY a make sure hes one of the 15, Bud will develop him into something greater than Korver. I like how patient he is and how he can get the midrange shot off after making a move or attacking the closeout. Suki can get him ready for the physicality

I'll be honest if he's taking a roster spot I'll be mad unless it's a 3-4y deal where we get all the upside. He's had one solid game and folks are overreacting so badly.

True, everything looks like it would translate well though. I hope he keeps it up, we need shooters

I do think Landale would take a two way. The Bucks are an ideal situation for him and it’ worth a couple hundred thousand to get the clock started on his NBA career when the right fit is right in front of you. Bud would have him firing without hesitation. He has a ton of tools and some things to work on. I love summer league for what it is.

Watching Zion makes me nervous. So much weight moving on those knees. Hoping for a long and healthy career.
