Curious what you thought was so ridiculous, the twin?

Overall my biggest plothole in the show is the basic ineptitude of the police. This would all be cracked super easily. But, for some reason I don't hold this type of show to the same standards as a big time drama like say a Breaking Bad or Ozark type show. Like the show is more supposed to be about friendship, grief, forgiveness, etc not so much about being criminals. So I can let stuff slide way easier.

Orphan Black comes to mind. The core mystery ran out of juice by the end of S1, and SE2 quickly made clear that it had no real plan beyond dressing Tatiana Maslany up in more costumes.

I loathed Newsroom from the get, but I'm also of the opinion that Sorkin's stuff is generally obnoxious, so I'm definitely not the target audience.

Yea I agree Newsroom was smug and pretentious from the beginning. Wasn't a fan at all either. It seems the biggest point they were trying to make was that members of the media are the smartest people in the world, got old real quick.

On season 2 of Ozark. Meh. Heard season 3 is really good. I find myself rooting for a gas leak so they all just go up in a massive explosion. I'm guessing that isn't in the cards though.

Hilarious human. Strangely my wife and I just watched a documentary about hallucinogenics on Netflix last night and he a had a bit part in it.

Great in ‘Best in Show’.

How did The Man From U.N.C.L.E Bomb?

I wasn't even a huge Ritchie fan at that point but I was there opening night and loved every second.

The article makes a point to say it came out between an MI movie and a Bond flick, and it was better than both.

Did you folks see this when it came out? I think my date wine-fell asleep and I was looking around at a mostly empty theatre that looked bored.

I don't get it. Also don't remember who I brought to the movies that night.

For some reason, I watched Witchboard last night. You old timers may remember it as the movie where Tawny Kitaen was locked in a bathroom shower. It's still horrible.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Didn't see it in the cinema(had no idea when it even came out) so i am guessing it had poor marketing/promotion.It's a very fun movie and i thoroughly enjoyed it.

No I'm dead serious. Why watch if you despise the characters to the point where you want something to cause it all to instantly end? Lol I must be misinterpreting what you mean because it seems crazy to me to keep watching something you feel that strongly against. The equivalent of the gas leak causing the massive explosion and making it all stop and go away is you changing the channel.

Lol help me understand? Are there certain characters you want to see in this explosion? If so, then saying "they all" threw me off. Are you saying seeing their demise would be the payoff you are hoping for that would make it worth continuing to watch?

Agreed s2 of Orphan Black wasn't great but at least the series redeemed itself with the second half of s3 and all of s4. Season 4 is probably it's best season.

I agree with you. And I'm still watching it. I am an idiot, I understand. Marty is the only remotely likeable character to me which is why I said what I said.

I've been told by people whose opinion I respect that it's a really good show I just have trouble liking any of these characters.

And the gas leak scenario would be much more satisfying for me than the channel change. :)

This is the only Tawny Kitaen I will ever recognize.

This is a relatively new development in TV but there have been a TON of these shows where there is simply no characters to root for.

If you are going to go that route you better at least be compelling though. And that's where a lot of these lose me. Walter White wasn't a hero but he was damn sure compelling.
