A reddit friend of mine DM'd me $NSPR. So I'm surprised to see Mickey bring it up because he's usually an index fund investor as far as I know.

All my friend told me was that it's a long play, and $NSPR makes "innovative heart catheters". They are in advanced stages, so maybe an announcement or approval is upcoming?

I still don't get this EV/alternative fuel boom... SPACs are going up insane amounts. Any company that announces a new line of EVs or something goes from $10 to $50 easy, even if they aren't making any money or have an actual project.

I'm still betting that GM, Ford, Toyota, VW, Honda, etc still take over this space in the years to come. They have the capital. They are still making money. They have the research teams.

The only one I see succeeding other than Tesla is maybe Lucid Motors.

At this point, the market is unhinged from fundamentals almost entirely. It’s all about hype. It’s the millennial market now.

It's true for the most part I'm index funds/EFT's but I'm getting a larger tax refund than I thought and I'm not going to play craps until things get back to normal so I have some gambling money. I got into NSPR at $1.08 and it's sitting at about $1.30 as I type this so a nice 20% gain so far.

Fundamentals are definitely out the window on a lot of these stocks. You jump in and hope to go for a ride. I'm not looking for GME returns but basically if I can double my money on an investment I'll sell half and let the rest run. On the downside I don't have a set strategy as ti when I sell and when I hold on.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, it is not making any sense and it is violent. That said, I kept hearing that Reddit gang was going after the weed stocks, but on WBS, I didn't really see any one leading that charge, yet all the mainstream media links had that as the headline.

So in short, I think we are seeing big money using a lot of resources to try and get some reigns on the retail investors. A buddy of mine told me he got a stock tip from tic tok. If people are getting their tips from there, think about how easy that is to influence. Weird times.

Gary Roubin, a stent pioneer, bought in on Monday for $.68, he owns about 700K shares. Now he could certainly dump them at any time.

The recent huge spike in weed stocks before the pullback today was obviously out of whack and likely gassed up as is being pointed out. But, in general(obviously tough to know which ones are best or worse), there is also a logic as to why that market segment should go up longer term. As someone not looking for a quick spike and sell I'd rather not have these ridiculous daily swings. Though, of course it was fun the last few days before today.

I’m still up 31% this year, but that doesn’t feel as good as 55% like yesterday.

When I first bought, maybe like three years ago, my plan was to hold for 5 years. My plan now is to probably hold for another 5 years and then decide if I am holding for another 5 years.

That said, there are a lot of charlatan stocks and companies in this space. The pump and dump on them is brutal and the retail investor is the guy left holding the bag. I've consolidated down to just a few more stable weed stocks to avoid that kind of volatility, but looks like today it doesn't matter, CGC down 20% on no news and coming off a fair earnings report, this is nonsensical.

Harvest could be a good buy and hold cannabis stock. They have a solid network of nice clean well stocked dispensaries and are positioned well now that recreational is legal here in AZ. Their 1st dispensary opened in 2011 right down the street from my house at the time and it's crazy to see how well/fast they've grown.

Aurora (ACB) reports after hours today. That will move things one way or the other I'd imagine.

Edit: guess they did pretty well. Up 5% after hours.

I already made some good money shorting SNDL, which has some poor fundamentals. The Reddit guys have probably mostly figured out by now that only the early sellers make money so they're all disorganized now trying to get everyone else to follow them into whatever stock they just finished loading up on.

Next GME/weed stock pump will be Blackberry ($BB). I'm not only seeing it all over WSB but r/stocks as well. It's actually a solid company, but I feel its going to fall victim to the WSB run.

I think weed still has a way to go as far as pumps go.

Also think there's a good month or two in penny stocks, thanks to the Robinhood exodus. These last couple weeks, almost every penny stock is having a 50% week at least.

I think shroom stocks will see a pump too once Mind Medicine gets on the Nasdaq. Most of them are still OTC.
