I would say it's Malcolm/Hill/Mirotic to DDV/DJA/Pat, which really depends on how one values the very different contributions of Brogdon vs. DDV, accounting for needs.

Sign Ariza if bought out. TBJ and Wright are both under team control through next year, TBJ is a RFA after 2022.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Comparing previous Bucks teams to the current one also has Giannis' personal improvement as a key variable.

If he can hit free throws and adjust to defensive walls better that could matter more than Brogdon vs Wes vs Donte comparisons.

That said, I do think (or at least hope) Bledsoe vs Holiday will matter come playoff time, particularly insofar as having a steady hand out there when Giannis does start to force things.

I dig both of these deals.

I love the first deal, but skip the 2nd one. TBJ is out of shape and isn't much of a shooter. Pat is our 5th or 6th best player.

If we're doing a then and now comparison, shouldn't Portis be included?

The only downgrade in roster changes is Hill to DJA/Forbes. That needs to be rectified.

Hopefully the improvement of Giannis allows us to play without the regressing Lopez.

This comparison was mainly just about the backcourt from the ECF to now. The starting frontcourt is still the same so it makes sense that comparing the guards in 2019 vs. now is the major change. Portis matters too but I'm not at all convinced he'll be any better than Ersan in the playoffs. My premise is that this Bucks team is as good as the 2019 ECF team, whereas the 2020 playoffs were pretty flukey and I'm not drawing a lot of conclusions from that.

How about trading Bud for a future 2nd round pick? Or if there are no buyers, how about trading Bud plus a second rounder for future considerations?

You do realize that if Bud was avaliable, the best organizations would be lining up for him, again.

Although Giannis doesn't have an elite #2 option with him, he has 2 all star calibre players. That kind of makes up for the fact neither of them is an elite second option. Based on that, and Giannis imo getting a little better, this is the best roster we have had. We have a good big 3 now.
still learning the game

The ratio of single-issue posters is getting too high.

No. But I would approve a Middleton/DJW/Nwora for Barnes/Haliburton/Bjelica/Whiteside.

Hollinger threw out Austin Rivers name as a Bucks target.

Thoughts?

Why is he not playing is my first thought.

Has size, shooting, ball handling.

Not sure where's he's at as a defender, but has to be better than Forbes/DJA.

Obviously would really rather not have to give up a pick, but, whatever.

Bucks need another playoff option that can play both guard spots and he has the potential to score a flurry of points, so probably worth it.
