Once we get Devin Harris, do we have the entire collection or do we still need Alec Burks and Al Horford to complete the set?

For me, both things can absolutely be true. I am hoping there is an intent to bring him back if he can't find a better deal, I feel like this was part of the arrangement with him.

That said, how he handles himself seems like it has been an issue dogging him throughout his career. Classic why not both scenario.

I'm just saying that if trying to find his watch is the problem, maybe we're looking too hard for a problem. Of course, you can do the most benign thing like a total **** and maybe that's what happened.

It sounds to me like he thought someone took his watch and someone DID take his watch.

Personally, that story doesn't sound believable. Just based on how dumb it makes Boogie seem to start accusing his own teammates of stealing his watch.

Now if it's actually true, exactly how Voodo described it....

I wouldn't mind Parker back, but not sure this is the time. Maybe in 2-3 years.

Jabari is the second biggest Bucks bust behind Kent Benson, quit on his team during a playoff series that they lost in 7 and there’s still people on this board pining for him.

I’m a big fan of Jabari but he doesn’t add anything to this team. His career is probably over and it’s kind of sad but some of it is on him. He’s as lost on offense as he is on defense, very similar to thanasis but actually has basketball skills. I can’t imagine him having a chance of signing here.

Always heard he was a decent guy off court though and embraced the city and did some great things in the community. I feel like he was weirdly vilified after he left and I remember people calling his pickup game he had before he left a pr move lol.

My guess is, the only person on the Bucks, who would want us to add Jabari.... would be Nwora.

My guess is, Boogie has some underlying mental issues. Not that this is why they cut him... it was evident before they signed him... The rumor is, Bucks are trying not to handcuff themselves incase a superior talent is available come buyout season.
Boogie liked it here and interest seems to be mutual. Guessing they will reach an agreement after
some other moves are made. As far as the watch thing... I am guessing it wasn't a timex ..Boogie made some bank in his time playing. He doesn't know the players all that well, so why wouldn't he suspect them? They are the ones who have access to the area where his belongings are. Also, if you are certain you had your watch that day, and it turns up in your locker. Watches, wallets, phones... These are thinks you usually notice when they go missing.
Not saying he didn't have a brain fart, but I could see one being suspicious if they were confident about having it.

Yeah, I also thought it was a favor to Giannis’ agent. I mean, it’s better than when they were doing favors for Kidd’a agent and drafting Rashad Vaughn in the first round.

Whatever they want to do to keep Giannis happy, I don’t care. He’s extremely underpaid on the revenue he brings in for the Bucks.

So can someone explain to someone who knows nothing about the cap what we actually have to spend in the buyout market?

That would be a fun Jabari Parker day. All those fans could brush off their Parker jerseys and get to wear them for the first time in a while.

If I was the Bucks I'd at least be looking at the Julius Randle situation. His numbers are down from last year, he's locked into a sizeable extension and now he's being booed by Knicks fans. I could see some team being able to buy low and he does fit into the Brook/Donte/change salary slot. His fit is only okay with the roster but he's former all-NBA and his big butt can guard the centers Giannis (and Portis) don't want to guard.

Only guy in the conversation is Potsie but I still don’t think it’s close because of the expectations of a top 2 pick vs those of a mid lotto guy.

The Jabari draft was an epically bad one by the Bucks. Not just passing on Embiid for Parker, but whiffing on all the second round picks miserably. We picked Damien Inglis AND Johnny O’Bryant ahead of MVP Jokic, Jerami Grant, Dinwiddie, Clarkson. Joe Harris and Dwight Powell also in that second round.

The terrible part of the 2nd round was we ran a high post offense that required a passing center, yet we passed on Jokic twice. It was a crushing night all around, because Parker never looked like a winning player. Never would have guessed that, years later that night would both prove to be a disaster, and would be inconsequential as we'd still have a budding dynasty.
