it's still very early. probably what we are seeing with Giannis is him falling back on old habits. preseason or not, he doesn't like losing and wants to dominate.

Just watching the whole game... We have ONE serious offensive problem .... Giannis and the whole team needs to pass the ball to Dame first after the rebound ... Giannis initiating the offense and occupying Dame's area of expertise at the top of the key needs to be put to the Bud's Random Basketball graveyard. Giannis needs to set screens correctly and clean the space fast for Dame to operate. Either dive hard to the paint or clear away from Dame fast. For example I saw Giannis setting a pick, defense switches and Giannis just stopped at the 3, not clearing the space and ball watched Dame... Dame on the other hand from Giannis not clearing the space was basically denied his right hand drive... which led to a contested of pace 3 miss. Point Giannis needs to be brought down to 10%. Dame isn't a wing guard, he operates at the top of the key. Running the wing and taking the ball curling with an off hand pass is a Middleton & others no handles play. We are not treating Dame well on offense, we need to fix this asap.

Even though it is a preseason game, I am beginning to be a little concerned with how Dame is playing. Even his body language isn’t giving off any signals of enthusiasm.

I give 33yr old 7 time all star the, play preseason with OLD MAN YMCA vibes, pass tonight.

It could be like how Khris Middleton used to suck in October/November and he finally got in shape by Dec. So I'm hoping for a faster curve than that, but using Kash ramp up timeline as the bar.

Offense was gross and defense was gross. Without brook no rim protection. Also per usual bucks defense a team was hitting almost 50% from 3.


I knew it wasn't Dame's night when he missed 2 FT's. Dude was 91% last year and 89.5% on his CAREER. He was 33% on FTs tonight. 2/11 from the field (18%) his career is 43.9%.

He's out of shape. Rusty as hell. in second half playing with scrubs. In the first half just let Giannis do his thing and took a backseat.

It's going to take time for DAME to get his game on AND to build chemistry with his teammates.


I still don't think it's bad if it takes DEC until this team gels. I'm not worried about losing #1 seed in November. Bucks with Giannis who's still a cheat code is going to win some games just be because...Giannis. There will be some Ugly wins, some ugly losses, and some blowouts. So it's not like Bucks will be at the bottom of the conference. Hopefully by Dec this team will start playing up to it's potential.

I hope we can give green some opportunity this year. He has an elite nba skill in his shooting. If we can build up his defence by giving him some reps he can be very very useful.

I'm not going to lie, it looked bad at times last night, but you have to remember that OKC were essentially playing their starters. If you heard their announcers you'd think we did too, but we were missing some key players. We essentially had no center other than RoLo for most of the night, which is not optimal, to say the least.

Dame is still rusty and it does not help that he is in a new city, with new teammates plus a superstar Giannis, in a new role. He always starts kinda shaky, although not as much as this year.

I also think Giannis took more of a point forward role yesterday, because Dame just did not have it (2/11), not because he wants to play only one way and is stubborn.

We need to accept that we are going to see some ugly matches this year, until they come together as a unit. Hopefully it comes fast, but don't be surprised if it takes till the end of the year(or beyond) as some other people have mentioned.

Marjon was awesome in game 3.

He was the only player with a negative plus/minus. I'm not sure that is the definition of awesome.

Single game plus/minus? Do we give that even an once of credence?

I give it slightly more credence than someone's obvious agenda.

Funny to lose by 23 points, despite AJ and Beas going 10/16 from 3. Exhibition season!
