Some of these calls towards the end were embarrassing in the Pistons-Celtics game. They are supposed to be the best in the NBA, they should not be getting that much of a preferential whistle against maybe the worst team of all time down the stretch.

Arguably looks worse for us. This Pistons team now is determined to win and end the streak. When they played us, they probably treated it as a regular game.

Here are your Bill Simmons power rankings from the pod yesterday.

1. Celtics
2. Nuggets
3. 76'ers
4. T-Wolves
5. OKC
6. Miami
7. Bucks (says our defense is a mess)

I may be flipped-flopped on OKC and the T-Wolves.

He does caveat that the worldly Celtics team is entirely dependent on Porzingis health.

Brad Stevens should continue to get a ton of credit. He bought low on both Porzingis and Derrick White. And both guys are playing at an All-Star level. Granted, we got the same on Brook Lopez, but we've needed to hit on one more of those moves, and just haven't.

The Pistons aren't a serious franchise:

Man Bill Simmons is all in on his Celtics this year. Its going to be heartbreaking...

For him

Ive never heard him do this many power rankings, especially this early in the season. This latest one...him plowing through all the other contenders lightning fast so he could shoot his wad with the Celtics segment.. it was like when youre a kid and you get your first video game system at Christmas. That first day back to school youre not even there, just thinking about getting back to your game.

I literally do hope that Porzingis breaks his leg. Sorry not sorry
