I love my tcl sets too. I wonder if for $648 the QLED version is worth getting. I too am looking at this 75 inch tcl lineup myself for the family living room.

I am also in need of a new 55 inch for my ps5 and sports viewing area.

Bought a 55 and 75 inch tcl qm7 yesterday. Absolutely loving them so far.

Just bought Helldivers 2 to play with a couple friends. Game is scratching my itch good so far. Only want to play with people I know so haven’t spent a ton of time but **** it’s fun.

Decided to pick CFB25 back up to retry a dynasty and see if I could actually recruit.

To save time I only play on offense. How is simming so out of wack that CPU drives on offense only take 10-15 seconds? Like, I should be able to score quickly if I want. I've been playing these games for 30 years, I know how to use deep crossing routes.

But I leave the defense to the computer and teams score immediately. Their drives last under 20 seconds. With 5 minute quarters I'm in the middle of a game vs Texas and the score is 42-34 with two minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. This seems like the norm regardless of who I'm playing.

Supersim is absolutely broken. It's a major gripe of mine. Literally had the CPU score in under 9 seconds more than once with multiple plays. The warts of that game have become to annoying for me to ignore. I'm sure I'll play again when the season is full swing. I was kind of enjoying Madden 24 (not the new one) before. Maybe I'll go back to that...I hate how I can't find games that entertain me lately.

I really didn't experience anything like this or your recruiting issues in my 200-300 hours with the game so I really don't know lol. I haven't supersimmed since the last couple patches, but if the drives are literally lasting 10-15 seconds, that's really weird. Drives definitely take less time than they do in actual gameplay though, so I always turned the minutes down a bit when I was going to be supersimming some. Usually around 8 or so minutes if I was only playing one side of the ball.

Weird. It happens literally all the time. Can't count the number of times I've scored with under 30 seconds to go in a half and watched as the opposing offense goes right down the field to score. I'll get the ball back 15 seconds later.

For years I've said how much I enjoyed Code Vein but I guess I never actually owned a copy. It must have been a Game Pass title when I played it in the past.

Anyway, it's on sale for $9 on Xbox with the current Bandai Namco sale. Worth it if you like Soulsbornes.

ETA: Was able to open my save from 3 years ago after buying it. Level 115 character and over 100 hours. Gonna start fresh. Game rules.

This one strikes a nice balance, I think. I enjoyed it enough to spend 30-some hours with it, too.

I have a bunch of MP4 video files that I want to combine, arrange the order, edit, etc. And some still pics inserted at various points. The end result I want to be able to upload to YouTube. I'm not interested in any background music. Is there some simple software out there to do this? I want to do it on my computer, not my phone. Preferably free although I would maybe pay a small amount. I would probably want to edit each clip before combining. By edit I mean shortening some of them and, if possible, being able to take out stuff within a clip. Say edit out 30 seconds in the middle of a 4 minute clip. Stuff like that.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

You need a video editor. Short of buying a fancy once only to use it once, Canva might be good enough for your needs. They have a free option - worth signing up for and playing around. I've never used the free version - just know it exists.

I miss Quicktime Pro. Was one of the most useful pieces of software ever, and Apple just said screw it and discontinued it.

This looks to have everything I need. I'll play around with it. It doesn't appear to have a watermark either which is surprising for a free version. Thanks!

Update: no.

Listed 1st or 2nd on just about all my targets, but still haven't signed anyone. Some targets that I was ranked 1st or 2nd on dropped off. Meanwhile the teams I'm recruiting against have signed between six and ten 4 stars.

This game is garbage.

What actions are you actually taking on your recruiting? This is so strange lol if anything recruiting is too easy in this game IMO. I feel like you must just be missing something. Even at 1 star schools I’ve been able to get 4 and 5 star recruits.

Hey nerds! I went and saw a live performance by Nobuo Uematsu and his band the other night, it was pretty great. It was in a beautiful old theatre and had a first part that was primarily just Nobuo on his own playing Final Fantasy stuff, then after an intermission he had his band join him and they played some other tunes as well as a bunch of the Final Fantasy songs with lyrics.

Great experience, definitely worth going if he ever tours near you. He's quite the entertainer.
