How many times have you seen him play?

He's been retired 20 years now, and I'm only 32 so I was never lucky enough to see him in the NBA. I've only seen him once in an exhibition game, but it doesn't really count. That's why I don't rank him against players I have seen.

I've seen about 40 playoff games or so on Classic, some old taped games my dad had (Kareem was his favorite player when he was big into basketball), several college games.

I've seen enough of him to know that he was the most unstoppable offensive player to ever play the game... He was even better with the Bucks than he was with the Lakers, IMO.

That would be Wilt. How many games did you see him play? I've seen both by the way.

Lopez? I agree. I've seen him play too.

Anyways, Denver, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Orlando all in their conference finals. Quick, somebody tell me what they all had in common.

Oh yeah?

Wilt has the most points in one game.

In college they literally banned dunking because Kareem was so unstoppable. How many shots have they banned for Wilt?

Kareem has the most points ever.

Kareem has two more MVPs.

Kareem has four more championships.

And Kareem did all of that in basketballs prime years... Wilt established his dominance in a time where Bill Russell was the other 'big man' and Russell was what? 6'9"? It isn't even close, IMO.

No he doesn't. Kobe does and Bargnani will soon pass him. No doubt.

Haha, oh that quote.

The guy with the most points in one game is about to win a championship, btw.

Lost in the 'Kobe is going to win one' is Phil Jackson breaking records.

Is he the greatest coach of all time? I cannot see another coach breaking that record any time soon.

"Who gets excited about winning championships? I do this crap all of the time." - Phil Jackson

That guy looks like he doesn't even care, haha.

I lawled at Morrison standing there with a championship hat on in his suit with a weird smile like he actually accomplished something.

Wilt used to jump from the FT line and dunk his free throws. He's the reason you can't cross the line until the ball is released. They also widened the lane for him and created the offensive goaltending rule.

Yea, Congrats to the Lakers.

All those guys deserve it, and even though I'm on the "Kobe isn't the best" side of the argument, I'm happy to see him win one. He's a very special player and he was definitely good enough to be the best player on a championship team, and now he is.
