... Okay, you got me there.

You also realize Wilt averaged 50 for a season. To go with his 25 rebounds. He also lead the league in assists one season. Wilt was the definition of unstoppable...to the point (as was mentioned) where they had to change the rules just to slow him down. They also changed the inbounding of the ball rule because of him.

While they both did some great stuff we are talking most unstoppable offensive player. I took this from the NBA encyclopedia "He was basketball's unstoppable force, the most awesome offensive force the game has ever seen". That pretty much sums it up for me. One last thing...I said Lakers in 5 so :P

If Kareem played in that era, he could have averaged 50/25 as well and would have had a 100 point game.

Didn't see a minute of it, thankfully. Lakers win, bah, who cares. Onto the offseason.

you know, somewhere there's an overenthusiastic ncaa fan who predicted a future reddick/morrison finals battle.

I bet they predicted that Morrison would get screwed by Kobe to win Finals MVP too.

Congrats to the Lakers. Probably the more deserving of the two finalists.
Go Bucks!

The Lakers just were the better team, especially defensively. Kobe was leader of his team on the floor reminiscent of that of Michael Jordan producing a solid team effort. Nice to see him step out of Shaq's shadow and take one of his own. Barring the unforeseen, don't see anyone challenging them next season.

Props to the real MVP, Kobe Bryant. Good job by the Lakers overcoming adversity and taking it all this year. They deserved it.

If the Celts come back strong they could take it from the Lakers. Also, if that Shaq trade to Cavs goes down, you may have to pencil them as next year's champions. But, who knows what else could happen...

I like the Celts but age may be catching up with them. The same holds true for Shaq. Too many miles on the Big Diesel. Not good for the long haul anymore.

Michael Redd and Richard Jefferson will stand in the way of back to back titles next year!

Lakers, beware of the Bucks!!
