Bud's Buds vs Terry's Tots. The only prediction I make is that Nurk will be aggrieved at some point, though I am fearful Ceej and Dame carve'em up.

Hmm, might be a tough game. Lillard has been balling so far, he probably continues that. Bucks win 120-106.

We have the second highest SOS right now and we are about to play the 3 top teams in the West and another above .500% team on a road trip.

What's going on with our schedule?

Best bet would be a bar with a bunch of TVs so they happen to have it on. I don’t know of any that are slanted towards Bucks. Try Hopcat

Hopcat gone. If you're going to the Kohl, I imagine the game would be on at either the Echo or Lucky's.

I've had good success watching the games at Echo Tap in the past.

I'm in the same boat but just means I get to watch the second half (Giannis will be resting at that point :D ) over lunch.

(Not in HK though, otherwise I would suggest lunch)

I'll have to check out Echo, I've been to Lucky's before and the bartender was actually wearing a Bucks jersey so we talked a bit about the Lopez signing.

Hopcat is gone!?! Jesus, I need to get out more. That didn't last very long...

Edit: Am I missing something? Googling around I don't see that it's closed?

Lucky's 1313 would be good too, tons of TVs and since it's Tuesday not a ton of drunken idiots.

I think the Blazers was one of the few teams where our previous garbage defensive scheme seemed to be a good fit because it was forcing the ball out of their all star hands.

Now I'm bit worried with Bud's system because if we give Lillard and McCollum easy midrangers they will get super hot..

I hope we will make some adjustments and not just try to outscore them at their home ground.

Echo's got a real good beer list and is very much a neighborhood spot. I like it. TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the places will be showing election returns, so keep that in mind.

Which of you gents is going to the game tonight? My cidery - Rev Nat’s - is literally 2 blocks from Moda. Ecliptic Brewery just a few blocks more North. My co-worker - Hillary - works the 10 Barrel Brewing hub IN Moda.

I have had a cold since last Thursday and I rise each morning at 4 am for the opener at the Cidery. BUT if Real GM peeps are representing, I may have to make my way and grab a ticket. I really want to get down to that Bucks bench and bask in the 8-1 glory!

I am optimistic that the Blazers can be the Bucks first road win against a team with a winning record. I think the Bucks pose more problems than we realize. The unstoppable inside power of Antetokounmpo, rebounding dominance and the 3-point (albeit less predictable) ring of fire pose a confusing conundrum for opponents. Wild cards include the Bucks high turnover rate, lack of true point guards, and and an emerging defensive style.

The Bucks schedule has been difficult from the perspective of quality of opponents, but easy from the standpoint of days of rest, lack of travel, and a heavy dose of home court advantage. Most of this changes with this four game road trip. The quality of opponent remains high, but travel stress will increase as the trip unfolds and every game will be played in a hostile environment. This should be the easiest of the four games. Portland is good, but I suspect the Bucks are very good.

This should be a good bonding opportunity for a team with a lot of new pieces - Lopez, Ilyasova, DiVincenzo, Connaughton, an entire coaching staff and new schemes. The Bucks are still coming together as a basketball team. This trip will give them a chance to come together as individuals, as well.

The Bucks have a long way to go before they become a top level team. This will be their first stretch of adversity. They have a good chance to win this first game. It gets much tougher as the trip continues.

Aw man, I'm sorry, bad info on my part. Mr. Brews, which was across the street, is the one that closed. Same concept, same footprint, placed within yards of each other. I actually think Mr. Brews opened after Hopcat. Ever since out-of-town chains went in on State Street in a big way, the turnover has been crazy.
