I disagree. With the way they call the game nowadays if you hesitate or stand still for a second you will get hacked and they won't call the foul no matter how much arm, hand or ball the defender gets. Watch Bobby trying to take his time at the post and he is constantly get blocked or being stripped.

He's barrelled into the defence multiple times. It's on him to change things up.
