I'm surprised we're only favored by a point or two. 24-5 at home, and Miami is not a great road team. Oh, and there's the matter of a 12-game winning streak. Even without Giannis, I think the Bucks are likely to win, to the tune of about 120-104.

It shouldn't, but it's still bothering me that the Bucks seem to be getting disrespected and ignored, with all the late-season Eastern Conference talk around Boston and Philly.

Here's a thought experiment: imagine that the Bucks were sitting in first by a game and Boston had won 12 games in a row to loom boldly, as they say in horse racing. What do you think you would hear in the media that you're not hearing now?

About every time I listen to the national stuff its always the best record in the league talk for Boston, and they are but it's half a game right now, settle down. It's just lazy. The fact the Bucks are right there after all of this seasons missed games, is pretty encouraging. Boston is deep no question, Denver has played pretty consistently well. The Bucks have at times won ugly, but man if you had told me Middleton was going to miss this many, and Giannis and Jrue were going to absent on top of that for 10 -15, I doubt I'd have guessed we would be right there.

On one of the Bill Simmons pods last week he had a line of something like "Boston has the best record despite all these guys missing games" and I had to shut it off. This of course immediately after his infamous "Middleton hasn't looked good cuz he's shooting 29% from 3" boxscore watcher take. Not even a hint of irony lol.

My guess to the rotation tonight

Holiday / Carter
Allen / Green
Crowder / Middleton / Beauchamp
Portis / Ingles / Mamu
Lopez / Leonard

vs

Vincent / Oladipo
Herro / Strus
Butler / Robinson
Martin / Love / Highsmith
Bam / Zeller
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

Not sure if I missed something but Khris should be available? He’s not on the injury report

Fixed it, can't believe I forgot about Khris. I do not think he starts though.

The starting lineup and minutes played will be interesting. Portis hasn't played in a month, Crowder and Leonard many months. Khris is still limited. Wes, Pat and Giannis out. Green, Manu and MarJon should see some minutes.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bam not getting called for any fouls. Do they let you bet on that?

I think that is his best attempt at trying to not look like a complete Boston homer.

I actually still enjoy listening to Simmons, it's almost entertaining now how he manages to take every single conversation topic and turn it into something about Tatum/Brown or the Celtics in general.

The Middleton hasn't looked good take is tell me you haven't watched the Bucks play. I like Simmons - find him generally entertaining but he's naturally got some kelly green colored glasses.

I don’t mind Simmons homerism because he doesn’t try to hide it, it’s part of the performance. He also shows lots of love to everybody who deserves it, especially Giannis. I don’t think he really cares for any of the other bucks/org.

Doris is insufferable. I like Lisa better. That's how bad she is.

That to me would indicate that even if he sits tonight, he’s back in the next couple games. Which is crazy. Study his DNA to figure out his magical healing powers.
