Anywho, best win of the season.

Khris and Marjon were out tonight and I think they could have been in there at the end. We got it done and we're playing good team ball right now.

Marjon is the guy I forget about. I think you're right. He probably would have been out there.

I'm not ready to count on Khris for anything until he starts playing more than once or twice a week.

The media and the podcasters are going to have to start changing their narrative that Dame's no good in Milwaukee.

hes been pretty consistently awesome throughout his career from the elbow and the nail. mostly driving, but that is where he should be positioned most of the time.

I still don't have much faith in Griff and staff (great challenge), but it is looking like the degree of our early struggles was enhanced substantially by everybody having diarrhea at the same time.

That Kyrie heater felt like it was never going to end. Way to persevere!

It's where he should catch the ball most of the time. Preferably in motion

That was always idiotic. All they are going to talk about the rest of the season is the defense.

But the invested so much labor in the Dame/Coach/Bucks disaster storyline.

Grant Williams is probably the #1 Giannis defender, and we were on a back to back. So Giannis scored 40. He's a god.

That's why I would never bet against Giannis and Dame at home. Even on the 2nd night of a B2B.

Nice to see Pat hitting some big shots, felt like 2021.

Caruso completes this team btw. We should do anything to get him on this roster.

Positives:
- Two top 75 players with proper floor spacing makes the offense seem comically easy at points
- Those Dre passes, jizz’d in my pants
- Pat clearly reads this board, saw the slander, and morphed into Playoff Pat. This game shall be known as the “Y’all Forgot About Pat” game. He made me look like the idiot I am
- I loved when the Mavs decided to give away their 4th quarter lead because Kidd let their offense (which had Luka and THJ on a heater both on the court) turn into a Grant Williams above the break three chuckfest for three straight possessions to give the Bucks a bunch of free stops
- Great effort by all on a SEGABABA against a rested team (although Luka looked like he had been sleeping under a bridge and was awakened right before tip off, if this were an early 80s game, I would have assumed he is on the downside of a coke addiction)
- Is it me or is the base defense with Brook officially back to Bud’s system from last year?
- I like AG having players target Luka on D. He puts forth a hilarious lack of effort on D.

Negatives:
- Is Dre also on a minutes restriction?
- Beas was off his heater, so not sure why they didn’t use AJ Green or Dre instead down the stretch. It worked out but having Beas out there on the other team’s superstar down the stretch is not a world you want to live in as a defense. It was also telling that with all of Dame/Beas/Pat out there that Luka hunted Beas.
- Bobby blitzing PnR does work sometimes but they can’t do it every time. As soon as it was figured out, the Mavs used it to carve up the D
- The slow start to the second half that almost cost them the game was entirely due to not letting Dame initiate. Giannis was trying to go at Grant and that’s not a good idea as Grant gets Giannis to take inefficient shots. I think I figured out why. Grant is low to the ground but strong. Giannis is at his best when he drives and then gets lower than his man to get his shoulder past and then explodes back upwards. If Giannis can’t get his shoulder past, he puts it into the guy’s chest. Giannis can’t get lower than Grant. Grant plays way off and is difficult to move when standing his ground. Giannis best move if not effective against Grant. When they screened and had Giannis attack anyone else, it was bbq chicken

Beas wasn’t on a heater. Marjon not available. So if you can’t trust Dre, they roll with AJ Green because he’s no worse than Beas but his shooting is always on a heater.

Grant regressed to the mean and forced up three awful above the break threes at a critical point in the 4th.

I loved it.

It should be a pretty simple formula for Giannis. Does the guy have a low center of gravity and a big ass? Don't back him down.

With our currently uninjured players I wonder if AG mentally thinks Pat/Mids vs. Beas/Mids after tonight's efforts.
