That makes no sense, unless Boston have half their team out.

They are on a b2b and played an overtime game.

They might rest everyone.

150-149 win with Giannis going crazy and Dame hitting 12 threes probably won't slow down the fire Dr Grief bandwagon so I'll hope for that.

That comment by Jrue makes me really want to see the Bucks kick the Celtic's ass, but I am certainly not counting on it whatsoever.

37 games into this season and my #1 biggest takeaway from this Bucks team (Aside from the obvious of AG being a really bad hire) is that this team has no pride and no competitive fire.

The Bucks just had a pathetic showing vs Houston and then followed it by a somehow even more pathetic showing at home vs the Jazz. That was pretty insane for a team that is supposed to be one of the top contenders in the league.

You know it's bad when even Marquees Johnson describes your effort as Disgusting

And it hasn't just been in these past few games. Say what you want about AG, but the Bucks overall effort level has been pretty pathetic most of the season. I have been saying since early November that if prime Phil Jackson was coaching this Bucks team, I am not sure it would make a huge difference with the Bucks level of effort and intensity. AG is a bad coach, but we also can't let the players off the hook here.

Sure, the Bucks will win some games and beat some of the bad and mediocre teams simply bu just having 2 top all-time 75 players.

But if you're looking for a a fiery competitive Bucks team with pride that will go head to head with teams like Boston, you're going to be extremely disappointed.

Jrue could bitch slap Giannis in pregame warm ups and call the Bucks a bunch of soft losers to their faces, and I would still bet all of my money on Boston winning by at least 10+.

My prediction.

Bucks play terrified against Boston like they always do. Will be evidenced once again by Giannis struggling to hit lay ups and going into barrel into everyone mode and the Bucks as a team bricking wide open shots.

Celtics will feed off of the Bucks fear and build a ton of confidence off of the Bucks fear, which will lead to the Celtics playing great, like they always do against the Bucks.

Game is over by halftime, Bucks make a fake run when the fear/pressure is off because they're down by 20+ in the 4th quarter.

If the Bucks cut it inside of 10 in the 4th, look for them to immediately **** themselves again once the pressure returns and quickly be back down by 15+ again.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

What the Warriors are to Boston, Boston is to us.

It sucks that it's a b2b for the Celtics.
If we win, we only won because it was a b2b and if we lose, well...
Damn if you do, damn if you don't.

At least Giannis seems to be healthy this time, fingers crossed.
Really hope we can blow them out against all odds!

I don't get the logic of wanting Grief fired but also wanting to win this game. It's one regular season game in January, this game means absolutely nothing in April.

We don't know hot Grief's seat is but again it's January let's lose these next 3 and find out instead of securing this terrible coaching for the rest of the year.

Where's the lie? We're a dumpster fire, and Jrue should be thanking his lucky stars he got traded to a team with a competent FO.

Unless Boston wins a championship the lie is "better things." I love Jrue. For a hundred reasons. Its obvious he's still f***ing irate that the Bucks traded him. Which is understandable. Doesn't make me love him, or hate the Celtics, any less.

Pump the breaks here, chief. "no pride, no competitive fire, bitch slap Giannis, soft losers" Not to mention "Bobby is a fake tough guy..." (not sure if you were one of the many who've claimed that or not but hysterical stuff coming from an Internet comments section)

Lets get real. This season hasn't been fun. Since the onset. Griffin has been all kinds of annoying. He can't be gone soon enough. I feel bad for Dame and his family situation. Its obviously affecting his play. But this core, with Jrue and PJ, won a title not that long ago. Nobody outworks Giannis. Nobody punks Giannis. Bobby isn't a "fake tough guy." Its bad right now but you're talking some wild sh*t here.

So…he took out an ad thanking the city, thanking the fans, reminiscing on good memories here…but because he wants to win a game he’s being some sort of villain?

Yeah the reaction to Jrue's quote is kinda bizarre. What do you people want? "Yeah I wish I was still on the Bucks I love all those guys I really wish they didn't trade me I liked it so much better there than here :("

I’m counting on our usual playing scared against Boston feeding into Boston’s confidence for a blowout C’s win. If that doesn’t get Grief out then on to next year I guess.

I hate wasting a peak Giannis year it almost feels criminal but he’s the one that picked the coach and he then extended so it is what it is I guess.

LOL this is like a play-by-play of the first meeting a few months ago. I don't think it'll go exactly the same way.

Let him keep it. He'll never get one playing with Tatum and Brown.

For all the griping and grousing about the Bucks' roster composition, I prefer it to Boston's. The Celtics are forever weighed down with two wings that flap (get it) out of synch. Tatum and Brown are just too similar to each other to lead a championship team.

Let them enjoy their regular season home court success. Let the loathsome Jayson Tatum clear space with his left arm 11 times a game and throw chef's kisses to the Boston faithful when he hits an uncontested three as though he just did something remarkable. Let Bill Simmons and Doris Burke whistle past the graveyard of unfulfilled promise as they wax poetic about their Beantown heroes.

They're going nowhere. We are headed back to the top of the mountain, despite all the boo-hooing apostates around here.
