Thank God you guys don't actually make any decisions...

He's very intelligent and understands his role perfectly, would be a great long term get for us. You don't want to see what Crowder at age 34 looks like after he gets a contract...

Bucks could be trying to take advantage of Dallas getting desperate.

Marc Stein: I reported that there have been some exploratory talks between the Bucks and the Mavericks that would have featured Bobby Portis in exchange for Grant Williams. After my story published, I subsequently heard that Milwaukee would not be willing to do that as a one for one exchange.

Vincent Goodwill pod w/ Jake Fischer: Dallas is definitely looking at power forwards and I’ve been told Dorian Finney-Smith no longer someone they’re considering there. I’ve been told Miles Bridges no longer someone they’re considering there, but Andrew Wiggins, PJ Washington, those are two names I’m confident in.

Rich Paul, who is his agent, is going to control the process. Charlotte, from what I’ve heard, has asked some teams for, we want your best young player and a first round pick. Who can afford to give that up?

The only way I want Grant Williams is if you can get a first with him or Josh Green. I’d prefer the first to then try and get Murray, but Bobby for Grant Williams and Josh Green would be an absolute fleecing.

Is this a thing that has been rumored or just something you’d like to see?

I too would trade assets that Utah wouldn't want for a player they're not trading.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

If we trade Bobby for a defending wing that sounds lovely on paper for the defense but what are our options at backup big? Give Gabriel a shot? Play Robin? :blank:

Play smaller. If we make it to round 2 you are only playing 8 guys anyways. Don't need a backup "big" when 6-6, 6-7 guys can do the job at 4 for the non Lopez minutes and against a lot of teams we'd be better off playing small anyway.

We basically played without a Center for almost the entire 2021-22 season, unless you wanna count those hodgepodge 10-15 minutes of Boogie, Greg Monroe, and washed Ibaka. I really don't know why people freak out about losing back-up Center minutes. It's the easiest thing to replace in this league. RoLo, calling up Wenyen Gabriel, and just going smaller more often will all do in a pinch.

Royce O'Neal should be the guy if he's available. He's the best of both worlds.

If Pat, Bobby, Payne for Grant Williams, Josh Green is on the table id probably take it. Ideally swinging Grant over to Brooklyn along with MarJon and our two trade able seconds for DFS

Doc needs to convince Giannis to defer to Dame offensively and expend those energy savings defensively.

Have you seen Dame shoot this year? Are we sure we want him handling more of the offense

Yes, I do. I know he's struggled with his shot this year, but I suspect that a lot of that is due to him trying to find a fit in an offense which makes Giannis its focal point. Put the ball back in his hands and let him cook.

I want Giannis terrorizing teams as a help defender. We can throw him on usually mediocre off the dribble 3PT shooting wings (like Jimmy) but I don’t really see the point in reducing his help defense impact and having him chase around star perimeter players that can really shoot, especially around screens.
