That can’t happen again, if in fact, we’re planning on shaking up the roster with Brook, Bobby and/or Pat. We need time for continuity and chemistry and everyone getting on the same page.

Hiring a coach that didn't know what preparation was did more damage than anything

Yeah that was a huge blow too, luckily we don’t have to worry about that aspect. Shaking up the roster to the magnitude Horst did last year as late into the offseason as he did, didn’t do anyone any favors either tho, Griffin included.

Griffin was clearly hired to coach the pre-Dame roster, and when the Bucks hired Bud, they spent the offseason reshaping the team according to his vision. The Bucks spent Griffin's first offseason taking the team in a counterintuitive direction. He wasn't supported in the way Bud was, but he failed to such a degree that I think that can be safely overlooked.

I think the crucial thing was that he was brought in to lead the team and he really **** it at every key junction. He big-timed his lead assistant, who quit before the season started. He abandoned all his plans when the players complained. His plans were terrible, but he wasn't brought in to do what the players told him to do, and he didn't have *other plans*, he didn't have anything else new or different to try, he just went back to the old system. He basically fired himself right then.

KPJ is a massive POS but that talent/youth upgrade by signing him would be undeniable. Put up 20 ppg per 36 @ .565 TS at age 22. Pretty solid shooter at high volume.

I'm all for giving young guys a 2nd chance, but this would be what, his 4th-5th chance? Please no, just find a better defensive wing who isn't a certified piece of garbage human.

He was suspended by Rockets before release but was not suspended by the league, from what I recall.

Doc’s son wasn’t a fan, so I’d be somewhat surprised if Doc was willing to give him yet another chance. But who knows

What is Jake Fischer smoking? I doubt Smith is replacing anybody this year lol.

Anyways, says Pat and Bobby are still being shopped. Nothing new.

SL starts in 15 days, I always look forward to it and then find it pretty boring.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Beasley carrying some weed and a gun, or Leonard saying a slur on stram - bad actions, but also just really immature/dumb decisions.

Domestic violence is a completely different animal. Ruben Patterson was a completely different time in this team's history.

Keep seeing the Spurs for Brook. Would we trade him for Keldon Johnson? The spurs have a million picks. Could we grab some of them?

It's sad because Fischer used to be somewhat reliable, but between this and tipping wrong picks, he's gone downhill quick.

Barring some other unforeseen move, I just don't see how they trade Brook now. They added no bigs.

Keldon Johnson in a reduced usage role would probably be a pretty efficient player. He's been 21%/27%/21% usage the past three years and that would probably be cut to 12-14% with Milwaukee. But as I said, you swap him and Brook, and what are you doing at center?

I didn't really see anyone available at 23 or 33 who would have stepped into the Brook role this season. Not much in the way of minimum salary guys out there either.

Like I said in the draft thread, Fischer isn't the only one who thinks of Smith that way. Vecenie and the dude on the broadcast with him thought he was a center too.
