I absolutely love that move by Coppola. Just shove it back, man.
It’s been a decade since we’ve seen one of his movies, and honestly, we didn’t.
I’m excited by his ambition, and I’m really looking forward to this.

So little ego in that trailer.
I'm trying to understand the current gripe about going to the movies. Is the argument that there are too many choices to sift through? That art house films don't have a place to run on a big screen?
My two cents: Cinema is going through an adaptation/evolution due to technological advances and a global pandemic. Growing pains are sometimes ugly.

The main complaint is cinema is all IP now. The original movies that you saw released weekly in the 90s aren't being made anymore.

If you enjoyed the 1st 3 seasons of The Umbrella Academy just let it end at 3.
Complete character assassination, disjointed non sensical plot and bad jokes are all that season 4 has to offer. Don't bother. Stay away. Just pretend season 3 was the series finale

I am also not sure how Dracula strengthens the case made by THE GODFATHER and APOCALYPSE NOW.
Looks gorgeous at any rate.
LMAO the quotes are made up.

Typically I wouldn't expect the filmmaker to get involved with a trailer but given that this has been Coppola's baby for decades, I'll bet he remembered some bad reviews and had somebody try to find them. And then that person did this.
I'm also still laughing at Dracula getting in the mix. So good.

I hated Dracula when it arrived. A couple years ago I rewatched it for the first time, thinking maybe I just didn't get it as a kid. Hated it more.

I wonder if the Dracula quotes are the only real ones.

Connelly was asked that today, he said he didn't know. Welliver said recently 2025.

The Crow (2024) must be awful if there's still no reviews out there.

Romulus was ok/good. Like a 3/5 type movie. Enjoyable enough but not really rewatchable.

S4 of Umbrella Academy is the weirdest final season to a TV show that I have ever watched. I can't remember another show completely disregarding nearly every prior plot point like this one did. What a shame

Pretty much everyone I've heard is saying exactly this. It's super weird, because I loved the first two seasons, was excited for S3 and then.....completely lost me after 2 episodes. I don't know if they changed writers/show-runners or just strayed too far from the source material, but man, this'll be a show that they study in "Good/quirky TV that took an absolute nose dive half-way through its run" courses.

Thought "The Crying Game" was a forerunner to the knockout game.
Brother, it was not, don't think this counts as a spoiler.

Re: OT TV and Movies (Please use spoiler tags)
Not TV or Movies, but a podcast:
#1 Dad
Comedian Gary Vider revisits his childhood, where his dad was a con man and cooked up a plan where Gary would impersonate a Sports Illustrated for Kids child reporter and he would impersonate a photographer. They were wildly successful, but his cons went deeper and ruined the family. He disowned his father at age 15 and in this podcast confronts him as adults after decades without talking. It is fascinating.
