Gonna need Middleton to come back looking healthy and effective for the sake of the team and the board.

You build a team full of AJs and then only run one AJ I don't get it

If Middleton's health is what is going to save the mental health of this board, we might as well book our tickets to the asylum now

I wonder if Jrue alone (with Khris playing and no Dame) could have had a better defense in today’s game. Probably not.

Also of course the coaches are different.

Why? I'm not feeling the self-seriousness here. I don't enjoy losing to the Bulls, but I've also seen enough basketball over the last decade to not be surprised when being -24 points on threes correlates with a loss.

Genuine question how many people actually enjoy watching the NBA at this point? The three point meta is probably the worst meta the league has seen and the rules encouraging it with moving screens never being called (unless the ref has an agenda) are so blatant at this point. Bring back the 19 foot contested two for the love of god

Took too long to play like we gave a damn. Then, when we really started feeling it as a team and we're within one possession, Giannis decided it was iso time for like four straight terrible possessions. That really deflated us.

Ryan Dunn 3-4 from 3 tonight. He would have been perfect of Giddey. Instead, we got Taurean "concrete feet" Prince. Way to go Horst!

Where were you a couple nights ago when he went 1-5 with three fouls in eight minutes?

It’s not much to take away from this game just like it wasn’t much to take away from the first game. One team hit all their threes and the other team didn’t. All I care about is how Dame and Giannis look together. Not talking about pick n rolls, but just overall. The fit still seems pretty clunky with them on the court at the same time. I’m sure the numbers are still great but it’s just so awkward.

44.7% from 3. This is why the NBA is garbage now, any team can just go on a heater from 3 and win.

I think he's right though, man. At least for this team, a guy like Dunn would have been huge. A rookie is going to get into foul trouble, especially with big time assignments. Every 3 he hits is gravy, and he's seeming to be improving there at a rapid rate, at least shooting with confidence. He's a disruptive defender with insane length and IQ. Herb Jones vibes, we'll see how he progresses.

AJJ could **** around and crack the rotation, but I highly doubt it. He's just not strong enough-- yet.

The thing is I don't really care? It's the end of the first round. No one goes back and lists all the guys taken ahead of Jokic. Sometimes teams just get lucky as hell. Once you get past the first few picks in an NBA draft it's a crapshoot.

You can go back and look in the draft thread. I was hoping for Dunn at that pick too. But I learned a while ago to just assume that professional organizations know more than me. In the case of AJJ vs Dunn, I get it. I think AJJ has superstar traits. Awesome size and length for the position, fast as hell, already an excellent defender. The offense is rough but whatever. He seems like a worker to bet on.

Maybe Dunn ends up being awesome. But he was taken at the end of round one. Just about ever team, with millions of dollars in their scouting budget, decided to pass on him. I'm gonna give this one a few years.

You can not care, and that's cool. And yeah, when it's all said and done I would not be surprised if AJJ is the better player-- like you said, he's got the traits. But that's just a dream right now. As a draftnik, I do appreciate Horst's swing for the fences philosophy in a vacuum, but we need cheap rotation dudes yesterday. You are higher on AJJ this season than I am, I just think he's far too light to defend/finish at a passable level. Early returns on Dunn is very good wing defender that might be figuring out his shot. Give me the win-now bet. If AJJ pops and Giannis is gone, I don't know if that's a win (unless he POP pops). Hopeful he can figure it out and fill out in enough time before that happens.

Jokic was just different. Fat Serbian kid with skills and zero athleticism. Dunn was appropriately touted as the defensive ace of the class. Teams worried about his shot, understandably so. Late round picks are either projects with high ceilings or dudes with high floors.

Still feeling the need to rotate Pat C in is a sad issue due to bad drafting or development. Some AJ should have all those minutes.

Brook Lopez is an asset on D but those 3s are backbreakers.. just set screens and get your big a%$ in the paint wtf...

Also Dame make 3s.. 3-12 is a$$

The difference from 2013 till the ring year 2021 and the 2022-2025 is that Bucks players were playing with a high motive to win it all ... now all I see is temporary motivation for buckets. Just millionaires playing meaningless (for them) hoop. It hurts cause I have to find joy and amusement into something else now.
All it took for us to get to the Finals was to sell our mediocre core pieces (Khris & Brook) at the right time for the right return. We didn't to keep Giannis the little boy happy. So it is what it is. Giannis is Shawn Kemp with a Ring. He had MJ potential to dominate a decade but he opted to keep Khris & Brook around ... oh well ... it is what it is ...
The what ifs of the Giannis era will dominate the realgm forum =21 for the next 50 years
Love you guys all... stay safe and healthy

Dame had 8-9 on 2s , 3-3 Fts and 8 assists 4 rebounds

Brook had 2-10 Fgs 1-6 3s 4 rebounds same as Lillard on 29 minutes.

We are a joke of an Org , it starts from Giannis acting like a 5 year old and the Bucks Org never gets serious ... instead of Winning mentality all they care is keeping Giannis happy. Well he is happy but we are losing, what a surprise Giannis doesn't know much about building a team. He is the best soldier but he aint a general.

Dame must be our general, Giannis should improve his FTs and his corner 3s. If his corner 3s aint falling he just needs to set screens for Dame or lives in the dunker spot where he belongs since Lillard is here.

I saw Lillard standing in the corner 3 and Giannis at the top of the key and reminded me what Pat Bev said... that Giannis is the worst teammate for a point guard cause he parks his point guards at the corner 3s. Damn , spot on.
