Yeah, throwing in AJ is the kick in the nuts once you're already on the ground.

Re: Middleton/Johnson to Wash for Kuzma/Baldwin
This may be worse than the Luka trade value wise. It’s not because Luka is Luka but this is honestly insane. WTF Horst has to be pissed about not going to Detroit and is tanking the team it’s the only thing that makes sense. Giving up AJ Johnson on top of it is **** insane.

Just wait until Middleton gets bought out and goes to Boston

I might be most upset about this aspect
Yep, I was coming to grips with Middleton for Kuzma. But drafting a guy like AJ Johnson who wasn't going to help this year at all, but there was hope he could become a good player in a year or two. Then trading AJ Johnson as a throw in for this trade is crazy.

What a sad day.
Although if this leads to blowing it up, I'm fine with it.
Edit: I missed the Johnson part. What in the actual f*** man?

It absolutely cannot be the 31 1st pick swap. That makes it impossible for us to do anything else after this. Im assuming its 31 2nd swap.

Including Johnson is assinine. Horst sucks as a drafter and piss poor usage of young players.
I don't care about Midds, but adding Johnson is BS...Fire his ass.
Big surprise that we added the clown Owner who trashed the Browns and now we are being trashed

Re: Middleton/Johnson to Wash for Kuzma/Baldwin
We traded the better player on the better contract, and gave up our 1st round pick and a pick swap for the pleasure. That's absolutely bananas.

Guessing we had to give up AJ to convince Washington to make it a 2031 pick swap instead of just giving them the 2031 pick outright.
Then don't do the **** trade.
Obviously if Horst agreed with 99% of you guys and thought Kuzma was ****, we wouldn't have. We view Kuzma as an upgrade while also ducking the apron.

This is a baffling trade.
The only hope I have (and it’s not much since he couldn’t get in the court for the **** Wizards) is that MAYBE they can turn Baldwin into a player.

We finally draft a rookie who shows anything then you want to **** ship him out as a throw in ffs.
Midds for Kuz was bad enough, but AJ wtf man.
Nah man this cant be real. Horst is not serious

Khris was more valuable to us than he was to anyone, obviously. They must be convinced he's being held together by duct tape and is days away from falling apart.
This is as much of a salary dump as anything. The only positive is it gives us flexibility to make other moves.

The only reason we're not the laughingstock of the league right now is because Nico Harrison exists. Who here wouldn't have taken Bradley Beal and picks over this?
