Still not perfect and some **** to work on, but they look pretty dece.
Bobby would have won us the Rockets game when the bench couldn't score and no one could get a defensive rebound.

I’ve noticed it has convinced teams to attack Prince. It makes sense to attack Prince because it seems so dumb to have him at SG. Even everyone here agrees it’s super dumb. However, two things are happening: 1) they are not attacking Dame as much; 2) Prince’s length plus the the length of Kuz, Giannis, Brook is causing guys to take contested shots or pass the ball.
Although the Mavs did cook in the first quarter, so who knows.
The eye test says it's been working. It's just a crazy amount of length on the floor and causes a lot of disruption. Obviously a lot of guards can cook Prince off the dribble but we seem to make up for it with all the length and every single offense runs screens all the time anyway so does it even matter if he can be taken off the dribble.

Kuzma’s defense has really surprised me, I didn’t know he was this good. Team has looked a lot better, dare I say fun to watch, since he and Sims and Porter have joined the rotation!

Re: PG Dallas: Bucks Roll
We haven’t won a single 1st quarter with that Dame/Prince/Kuzma/Giannis/Brook starting lineup. I just don’t get why Doc keeps starting Prince at SG and puts the team in a need for a comeback.
I get it if Doc doesn’t want to mess with the chemistry with Porter/Green/Trent coming from the bench. At this point though I would rather give AJJ back his starting SG for 10ish minutes role than starting Prince.
What makes it even more weird is that this happens in an era without Bobby which leaves no forward for the bench. Prince should have been that guy.

On offense, Green did hit a couple of crucial 3s but overall he has not seemed impressive to me. Trent on the other hand has overall shot much better. Porter continues to impress me with his abilities.

it's going to be super annoying trying to resign Lopez, Bobby, Sims, Prince, Trent and KP3 after we win the ship
Looked at next year, assuming Pat opts in, we're at 148m. Cap is 154m. Brook shouldn't be expecting anything huge. Bobby could easily opt out but if he opts in we're over. Trent will command a lot more after this year. Prince a decent amount more. KPJ should get more. We're going to look way different next year. Going to be a really weird offseason for us. Giving Chris Livingston that contract though was mental...
brook resigned for far less will be there if we want
portis we can extend if we want. i wouldnt give him a raise tho ffs
trent and prince we have a full mle to fit them both. if somehow we cant then it means one of those dudes wants waaaaay too much
kpj if he opts out we offer whatever raise were allowed and another 2 years. if he balks at that i wouldnt pay more anyway

Livingston's deal is non guarenteed after this year so if the Bucks decide he isn't worth it they can move on at no cost
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

True, but Green continues to be the better defender.

Re: PG Dallas: Bucks Roll
Occasionally, the Bucks play drop with Sims in. He's not good at that, so it's easy to see how he feel out of favor in NY. He's amazing in a switching defense, something Thibs rarely uses. It was cool to finally see Sims play next to Giannis. I didn't notice any spacing issues, but Dallas is pretty unorganized right now.

Re: PG Dallas: Bucks Roll
i would take very little from the new lineup so far, except that it is better than expected.
No analysis means much until we begin the next stretch, starting with the Cleveland game. Let's reconvene after this gauntlet, a few on btb. The good news, eventually, we'll be getting BP back and getting a deeper team.

I'm starting to wonder if Jericho isn't as important as Brook or Bobby at this point. Our D looks much improved.Matches Malone wrote:Walls of Jericho brought it on D tonight.

What boggles my mind is that the new additions look like they've been playing here for years.

I'd give Brook the league minimum or let him walk, even after this good stretch.

Dozed off and missed most of the game. I'll have to rewatch it today. With that said, **** Kidd.

pretty much all lineup data show that prince is only good when he is paired with giannis

I would not be out raged by trying Green or Trent as a starter but I am skeptical of the results being much different. If Trent and Green were better passers, ball handlers, and drivers then I would be more outraged but I'm not sure the Bucks have a legit starting caliber 2 guard on their roster. Fortunately, they have enough rotation guards to make it work.

Why wouldn't you play the worst slasher/ball-handler w/ the superstars who can slash/ball-handle? It's the best fit & allocation of resources. Then you have the defensive fit which is the bigger factor. So far Green & Rollins are winning that criteria.

Re: PG Dallas: Bucks Roll
I hate, hate that starting lineup in theory but cleaning the glass has them as elite with a +11.1 diff after 144 possessions. They’re clamping so far too. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess but I just don’t think it’s a good lineup overall, but Doc knows best in this situation. Numbers don’t lie.
