Weird post. Dame made two 3s in a row, missed a 3, made a layup, then missed another 3 and then had a TO throwing it out of bounds. He had the ball a ton. Giannis had like 2 possessions during that entire stretch and he scored both times.randy84 wrote:Wooderson wrote:Remember when Dame wasted a possession at the end of the 3rd quarter by passing so Bucks didn't even get a shot off?
I remember when Dame was on fire and Giannis and Brook wouldn't pass him the ball.

I’m perfectly fine with a 3 there, because I definitely didn’t want overtime.

Only caught the 4th of this one but Kuzma and Giannis missed 3 bunnies with like 4-5 minutes to go. KCP blocking Dame and having it go off his fingertips. Just one of those games imo.
That's why using the last timeout with 29 seconds left was odd.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Ummmmm. Turnover was costly. Three wasn't a very good look. Not even close. paid alot to be clutch. Its blame Dame time.MickeyDavis wrote:Dame was very good tonight. Missed the final shot. This loss certainly isn't on him.

Is every post about the reason we lost?
Not getting a shot off still mattered and it was totally in his control. Not a huge thing but still worth mentioning given it's like the 3rd time that's happened by Dame the last few games.

Weird in that he made two in a row and they didn't pass it to him after that or just weird that we both brought up random possessions?

AJ didn't make a basketball. That's pretty big when he is on the floor for his three point shooting.
That's why I said a little on AJ as well. Although he did some little things(4 assists, 3 steals, solid defense)
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Didn't they say on the broadcast he's 4/25 on 3p in clutch time? It's so easy to just throw a long athletic player on him and force him into really difficult shots. Giannis taking a mid range would have been 1000x better

Re: PG Orlando - Bucks Fall
I think the Dame shot sucked but I think it something you live with just like you'd be living with a super contested Giannis midrange if you could actually get it to him.
I think the Green three point shot, which Giannis cleaned up and gave us a chance, out of our last time out was one of the worst plays I've ever seen drawn up.

We may have called timeout and still ended up with that bad shot but it was a weird time to burn the last one and not have it available. It was actually 25 seconds left not 29 as I posted.

I respect Dame’s talent. I expected a different player once he was paired with a talent like Giannis. But I said it last year that something felt off from the moment he stepped out of that limo 7 hours late for his welcome party. I kinda just want off this ride.

I could actually sort of live with Dame ignoring Giannis in crunch time, if Dame was actually taking good shots and was simply just missing them. But he's not.
It actually seems like Dame intentionally makes the shots bad/tougher shots on game winners to make Dame time look more dramatic if it goes in.

Spot on. It’s like he’s reading/buying into his own press.
