Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Hang On
Bucks kind of suck in the 4th/clutch time. They lack urgency, their coach always craps his pants and blows some type of challenge, the defense gets lost and the players just flat out play low iq.
The staff needs to lock in and figure this **** out.

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Hang On
I said this in the game thread, but TP routinely makes the wrong decision in transition.
I don’t think guys should always just look to get the ball to Giannis in those situations, but Prince almost always looks for his shot in those spots and will get caught with the ball too deep in the paint before looking to pass out.
We shouldn’t turn the ball over on a break, goodness.
At some point maybe he should just look to get the ball to the 7 foot freak athlete before everyone’s momentum has stopped under the basket.

Felt more confident when Sims came in for Brook

I'm still not a fan of the Kuzma deal. But Horst might have cooked with the KPJ & Sims deals.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Bud took too long to realize when not to lean on Brook, and Doc is repeating the same problem.
He’s a limited big who could look like our second best player in the right matchup and absolutely tank us in bad ones.

Dame is a fraud. After that late turnover against pressure tonight he wouldn't even bring the ball up. Not sure what the coach is supposed to do to overcome that. Good thing KPJ was in and beat that pressure easily.

He didn't try or he was doubled which led to Prince FTs. You got to let the hate go.

Kuzma is just making too many boneheaded plays still. Circus shots under the basket. Trying the miracle shot when out of position. He needs to realise he's not the A, B, or even C option on this team, and give up the damn ball.

He couldn't get free from single coverage

They were up 15-ish for most of the quarter and then with 4 min left the refs stepped in, called a bunch of iffy fouls, giannis got tossed and they hit a few 3’s.
Siakam was mauling Giannis throughout and somehow only ended up with 3 fouls.

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Hang On
Fair to mention Dame too... almost a triple double.. and his percentage is better even than it looks... many of his 3s and deep 3s were after great Pacer defensive possessions where they stuffed all our players and trapped some poor role player and give it to Dame for a late backbreaking 3... those type of plays hurt when you execute everything to stop them and some mf jacks a 38 ft 3 and drains it. We've had that happen to us by some random role players but it might hurt worse that it's the #3 most 3s made all time guy that's chillin just distributing the ball, happy deferring and getting Giannis the ball in good spots and then break your a$$ off again with some long bs 3 lol

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Hang On
I am liking Sims more and more, but there is no way he can be on the court at the end of a close game. Not when you know the opponent is going to be fouling intentionally.

Sims has been fantastic considering he's meant to be a throwaway backup.

Re: PG Pacers - Bucks Hang On
NBA refs miss calls all the time. Three referees cannot keep track of 20 hands & arms, 20 feet, the ball, the game & 24 second clocks, the half court line, the paint, the restricted area, the rim, out of bounds lines, etc. Video replays in the arena show that their calls are correct more often than not, but they make mistakes throughout the game.
Every team's fans feel that their team gets the worst whistle in the NBA. Really?

Novak - "Its really great to have a guy like Dame for situations like this (Giannis fouled out)" proceeds to brick a contested 3. And is shooting way below league average in clutch minutes.

We need Kuzma for his defense, energy and athleticism. That helps wear down the other team. Khris was completely cooked on defense. I'd do that trade 100/100 times. We don't need Kuzma to be an offensive juggernaut. We're going to need all of his defense against stars in the playoffs.
