Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
I will miss him being a godzilla underneath the rim for us. He bailed out so many of our perimeter guys. A true ironman despite the back surgery and a guy who helped turn the franchise around. Thank you Brook.

Knew it was coming, but still...legit sad. End of an era. Brook really is one of the good guys.

Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
bledsoe/jrue with the drop was epic. obviously hes perfect offensively in the modern game for what he costs.
im going to miss him and those teams all at once. game has changed tho.
if we dont retire his number that would be a mistake. he was as much of core as anybody besides giannis/khris

Great dude and for a while a great player. Sucks the Bucks put him in so many no win situations in the playoffs, particularly when we no longer had point of attack defenders. Should have moved to the bench after 21 and stayed until he was 40 and got his number retired. Hope he gets one more minimum deal here before he retires and get some minutes.

Loved Brook during his time here, he was such an easy guy to cheer for, great player and seemed like a great dude too. Probably moved on from him a couple years too late, but that's been the front office's MO for some reason. Thanks Brook!

Lots of fondness for Brook. Was really great for the Bucks, both the player and person he was on the court. All best to him for the rest of his career!

Thanks Brook. What a great guy, incredible talent, never complained or whined about his role and we wouldn't have a won a chip without him.

Really going to miss him. I feel like he could have been DPOY between 1-3 times during this Bucks run... Maybe even an All-Star once... It didn't happen but... Dude is an all-timer. SPLASH MOUNTAIN, COME BACK, WE HAVE NOAH'S ARK!!

Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
You played with incredible heart
You made guarding the rim a fine art
Splashing threes, setting screens
You knew what winning means
And you even played through a bad shart
The thing I'll always remember about Brook is when things got chippy at the end of a game and it looked like trouble, he watched over his teammates like a german shepherd ready to pounce if needed. Yes, he had a twin, but he was one of a kind. Number 11 better be in the rafters when he's done.

Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
One of my favorite bucks ever. Even at his worst he was solid and near all star/Dpoy at his best. One of the main driving points of going from joke to contender. He deserves to enjoy his twilight years at home.

Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
The story Van Gundy always said about Brook turning from a paint scorer with 15 ft jumper and no defense, to a volume 3 pt shooter and DPOY candidate became cliche but it still damn incredible how he transformed his game. Bucks legend!

So glad I live in the timeline where Brook became a Buck and helped us win a title. As everyone has said, great player, great guy, and things wouldn't have been the same without him.

Re: Brook Lopez Appreciation Thread
Brook is a Bucks legend and one of our all time best players. He’s been the best Bucks center in my time as a Bucks fan, including the Bogut years.
It was so refreshing to watch him transform this team when he first arrived. From multiple DPOY performances, to stepping up in the ECF when Giannis got injured, to being an absolute Ironman and a joy of a teammate, I’m going to miss him so much.
Hope he enjoys being back home the next few seasons, and I hope he retires a Buck.
