i dont think we discussed it with him prior to making the decision.

and by the way... if you listen to the Indiana GM talk about getting blindsided by Horst, this is exactly why you don't discuss trades with the players involved ahead of time. they all talk, they all got their group chats. No one saw this coming because we didn't say a god damn word. if there's even a whisper of us potentially having cap room that gets back to Indiana, we are cooked.

So Horst silently gets his guy yet again. Didn't work out with Dame but that's not his fault. He gets a lot of **** for draft picks but overall i ride with Horat.

I’d even toss in an unprotected swap on the 32 pick to get that trade to go through. It’s the Kangz, that won’t convey even if Giannis is washed by then.

Monks got 3 years left on his contract, so we shouldn't have to throw anything in. Honestly, we should get the sweetener.

If we take leads based on the play of Monk and Murray, I would suggest that then we must A always B be C closing.

I don't want either but I'd take Beal if only because he could help for more than 1 year.

I hope waiting for Beal to not consider the Bucks won’t hold anything up in the mean time.

The Lakers complement him even worse than Phoenix. He's one of four perimeter creators & they have a suspect defense. If he went there, it truly wouldn't be about basketball or future financial interests.

I think the Clips are pretty suspect too. They have a better defensive foundation than the vast majority, but offensively it'd be similar w/ him being clear 3rd perimeter option to Harden & Kawhi. It's us, if it's not totally about the location.

All good points. He would have it pretty good here compared to other options. Minnesota would be his other good option, although he could start here.

Beal needs Giannis and Turner standing behind him defending the basket. He doesn't need money. Maybe he wants the attractive city. If he is not about winning then he's a pass anyways.

I'd welcome Beal but I wouldn't lose sleep over him not choosing to sign here.

I've stayed away from the Dame Appreciation Thread because that's a place for positivity. However, if I see another tweet about how Dame "gave it his all" I'll freak.

How in the world is playing zero effort defense, getting beat down the floor by Brook Lopez, walking the ball up on offense, and refusing to throw lobs to Giannis "giving it his all"?

The only thing he brought consistently was selfishness and pouting. All that for $48 million a year.

What a colossal loser. Good bye and good riddance. The team will continue to be better without him.

I'd like to sign Caleb Houston to a 2 way deal. There's not a bunch to like about his game, but he can seriously shoot it, plays with effort, and is 6'8". Still only 22 years old.

What we need to do is acquire a 2029 1st so we can draft Monta Ellis Jr.

He averaged 7/2/2, I hope we get a good deal.

That’s because the worm for brains head coach was starting Prince at SG instead of him. We saw at the end of the season and in the playoffs what Dairy could do when he was allowed to fly free.

Why would they push that back? To trade him?

I have to imagine the portion that they guaranteed in this situation is a very very small amount of that $2.2 million.
