Mitchell would fetch more, IMO. Also think Utah would rather hang onto him and deal Gobert instead. Nice and easy Gobert for Wiggins, GSW '20 1st, MIN '21 1st seems like the most obvious play, especially if they land #1. Would love to see LaMelo/Mitchell together, and LaVar freak the **** out about one of his boys going to Salt Lake City.

I was probably the biggest Mitchell fan on this board leading up to the 2017 draft but I don't really think he's that great a fit here. And if you think Bledsoe tends to **** the bed in the playoffs, well.....

Like Haliburton - not a future all-star but a versatile player who makes good decisions, plays defense, passes very well and hits open shots - including 3's. I can't think of a good way to trade up for him.

Depends on how far he slips I guess. If he's late lotto, we could maybe swing something. I'd try for sure.

I think it would take an offer of Bledsoe, Donte and Indy 1st to get Utah interested but is that too much? I think it’s a tough decision.

George Hill
Donovan Mitchell
Khris
Giannis
Brook

Vs

Bledsoe
Donte
Khris
Giannis
Brook

DDV is my guy but this is tough...

I’m legit not trading Donte. I know it sounds weird but he is/will be incredibly valuable to this team and may be one of the best defensive guards in the league.

The deal seems remarkably similar to the one I posted on the trade board a couple hours ago. I included an extra unprotected first to get it done.

Donte is great. You still do it. People always complain about a second star next to Giannis. This gives us that chance with Middleton and Mitchell playing 2a and 2B.

Mitchelll is the type of player that shouldn't be available but is. If the Bucks have the assets without Giannis and Middleton they should try to get him.

I love Donte, have since Villanova. He’s my favorite non Giannis Buck. I pimped him and Kevin Huerter SUPER hard pre draft(used to post under weezybaby856). Hege, I didnt see your trade post and I really would hate the trade completely if we added anything more to it. Spida Mitchell is a household name now, big time scorer, all star so I get it and that’s why I think he’ll cost a lot to get. I think I’m keeping Bledsoe Donte and the pick tho. This trade has more appeal to start George Hill over Bledsoe which I think would come in handy. Having a stabilizer like Hill plus the Giannis factor would keep Mitchell from trying to do to much like he does in Utah. He’s the primary creator there, he’d be more of a floor stretcher and 2ndary playmaker here. Sounds like I’m advocating for the trade but realistically I’m also describing what I think Donte will be by next season for us so I’d have to just keep the gravy train rolling here. Donte might not ever be the scorer Mitchell is but he will supersede him in most, if not all, other areas.

If it was Beal or Klay, sign me up. Donovan Mitchell? Respectfully decline after further review.

I would take Mitchell over Beal or Klay and it isn't really close for me. We are building for Giannis's future not what these players were.

Mitchell is locked up for 6 more years for years 24-29 at around the same money Klay will make over the next 4 for years 31-35. Klay has been the secondary scorer.

Beal is locked in for 2 more years and would likely cost about 30% more than what Mitchell would over the same 6 year run.

Mitchell is also a much more willing defender.

Mitchell in our system as a secondary or third guy would be unbelievably efficient. The fact he is 23 makes me think he would be a perfect wingman for Giannis going forward.

They didn't even have to suffer through a full **** season. Might not even miss playoffs.

At least they'll get a high pick in a dog-sh*t draft.

The draft isn't ****. There's a lot of talent in this draft. It's just much harder to identify said talent.

I don't see anything close to a franchise talent in this draft is what I meant. Usually the quality of the draft is measured by the top end talent, and there isn't much of any of it in this class.

I haven't spent much time in this thread, was there a general consensus about Patrick Williams?

Loving Keyontae Johnson more and more these days. Replacing Sterling Brown with that dude or Bane would be amazing.

I can't believe Chad Ford used to be the draft guy. Called this a wing depleted draft and that could not be further from the truth. There are dozens of wings that I legitimately really like this year. No mega wing superstars, if that's what he meant, but loaded with coveted 3&D type quality role players.

If they cancel the season - they gotta do full random lottery.

Eh I see plenty of players that could be franchise talents. Don't get me wrong the draft will be a mess, but when we'll be looking at this draft I doubt that it's going to be much weaker than the average one.

Plenty? I see guys with outlier skills that could be core pieces, but *franchise* guys? Disagree, and I really like this draft.

Zion, Ja, Barrett all go before Edwards or Ball is even considered and they have the two highest ceilings with serious flaws. Then you have guys like Hayes, Maxey, Haliburton, Hampton, Vassell, Okoro, Lewis who could definitely be core pieces, but not guys you build a franchise around.

Chads biggest asset was inside info with a lot of teams but then the smart teams started blowing smoke. The majority of his takes were solely based on what he was hearing from teams
