Ibaka would be my first choise for big considering what is left on market. Did Harrell went to Lakers for MLE? If yes then Ibaka may too.

Theoretically we’d want those to be team options in that case so we could just start from scratch

Instead of trading Giannis we run it back for one more season with Giannis where we end up as a 4-5 seed and delude ourselves into thinking we're just "saving it for the playoffs" and Holiday's improvement over Bledsoe will be our saving grace. It's not and we lose in the 2nd round. Holiday and Giannis walk.

Praying for a better outcome than the above but it's hard to see. At least if Giannis signs the supermax it gives us a little extra juice in terms of recruiting but the only reason he would at this point is blind loyalty.

That is literally the only reason. Hope I'm wrong but I have no idea where the confidence surrounding him resigning is coming from..

What is our sales pitch? How do we improve the team in the future? The answer needs to be better than "Well, c'mon you're Giannis! Guys will want to come play with you, Big Guy!"

I'm trying to be positive, I really am.

Loyalty and a crap load of money

Let's hope that gets it done. Giannis has said a couple times now that he doesn't care about the money because his family is already more than taken care of.

These signings are John Hammond's wet dream.

No we need a bruiser to set good picks.
Noah Vonleh is my guy, he indeed bothered even Giannis with his D and I loved the fact that he believed in himself to be a Giannis stopper. At least he had the heart to try

Honestly, at this point, I would rescind the Jrue trade. The Bucks are going to need their picks for the future.

Disgusting. Of all the years to not hit luxury. Could it be they are saving that chip for the trade deadline? Does it cost less money if it happens later in the season, lol? - There will no doubt be a lot of trades this deadline as the entire landscape is shifting. They may want to go in on Harden or someone then.

These are two of the least inspired signings possible. You really couldn't get DJ Augustin for less than 3 years and $7 million per? And another player option? Get Jon Horst out of here, truly amateur hour.

So if you’re Giannis....

Holiday
Donte
Middleton
Giannis
Lopez

Bench:
Augustine
Portis
Connaughton

Enough to make you sign the Supermax?

If Holiday proves to elevate everyone's game, it could be enough to entice him. We talk often about how Jrue will help Giannis, but how he will help Middleton and Brook goes understated.

So far the best traded player in the league is Jrue. And I'm pretty sure we are not done yet.
