This is like proposing to your partner and they ask if they can have a few weeks to decide, after you’ve been together for 7+ years.

Re: Giannis Thread - 6 Days To Go
Giannis and Bam have the same agent. I have a hard time seeing them being traded for eachother, especially considering Giannis could just not extend and head that way next offseason for free if he really wants to, like how they acquired Lebron.
Unfortunately I'm afraid that Riley would hold firm with Herro as the main trade piece considering his sconnie hero status.
I wouldn't blame him either considering how David Griffin successfully engineered a bidding war that the Bucks threw all our chips onto the table to win.
Horst vs Riley (yes with input / direction from the Lasry's) could go very poorly for us.

Re: Giannis Thread - 6 Days To Go
Even if he signs, if this is the new Giannis trade him, trade him, trade him. Right now it's not even enjoyable watching him play. His attitude, demeanor and play is digressing. Maybe I've had my rose colored glasses on and haven't been able to see what's always been there, but this Giannis is different. We're not winning anything if he plays like a glorified Brandon Knight. If he thinks the grass is greener I believe he's in for a dose of reality. He's not going to win a championship any easier being the number one option somewhere else, and the pressure is going to be 100 times greater. He'd be better off joining up with Lebron like his brother.

Has anyone ever become as overrated as fast as Tyler Herro has? And I like the kid.

actually, i blame Garnett, Pierce, Allen superteam more. at that time LeBron's DECISION looked 100% provoked by that Boston team. IIRC he even mention them then. he also just lost to them before the decision.
but then LeBron made his supper team, then Durant, now AD...

Yep and you've burned all the bridges with your friends for her. There's a bleak future without her. (i.e picks traded)

Seriously....I feel like I'm going crazy. Herro is a decent player....but not someone I want to build around.

Its basically Linsanity on crack, but Herro obviously is a way better player

Agreed. And on the Windhorst pod they were questioning Herro's real value. They all thought him a nice piece, but said basically he's a good shooter in the bubble, but at this point not a cornerstone for a big trade.
And sure, Riley might balk. But what is his option? He doesn't get Giannis and we trade him elsewhere. Riley knows stars and the Heat's (and he and Mickey's) window. He'd make that deal IMO.
And I'd be good with it as a Bucks fan, we'd still be contenders in the East.
