Curb Your Enthusiasm is the Ersan Illyasova of comedies. It doesn’t age, its always there for me, and it always comes through in the clutch.

I f****ing loved Dune. If WB doesn't green light a sequel I'll never watch another movie of theirs again.

The season premiere was all over the place. Enjoyed it. I hope Leon is in every episode. Susie too.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think it's a pretty safe bet there will be a sequel.

Little late to the party but my goodness is Ted Lasso a fun watch. Halfway through season two and loving it.

Had dinner in LA a few years back with Leon at the table next to me. Yes, I kept looking over at him wanting to do a Larry riff.

Adding Leon to Curbed was something like adding Rodman to the three time champ Bulls. Led to several additional great seasons. What a pickup.

The best line of the episode was when Larry hit the glass door and Leon says “thats the second feeble thing!”

My fave Leon line is a single word:

"Ejac-a-lit?"
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I enjoyed the premiere of Curb but thought it was uncharacteristically untidy for Larry.

J.B. Smoove's rejected Monday pitches at SNL are hilarious. I love that he's really playing only a slightly exaggerated version of himself on Curb.

Susie did plop.

Curbed was a little looser than normal. I viewed it as a spring training situation. This is the first attempt in over 3 years. Larry’s fastball will return.

I'm a little over half way through Midnight Mass and I'm not a horror film guy like at all but holy hell is this well done. The priest and Matt Saracen have both been excellent.

Extra hits home for me because I grew up in a small town, went to Catholic school and was an alter boy. I also share some of the questions/issues with the church expressed on the show. Obviously not to turn this into a religion discussion but I think the show has done a really good job with the topic.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

As per usual with Flanagan's shows, I wouldn't really say it's scary, but it's very very well made. I can't wait for his Edgar Allan Poe adaptation that he's working on now.

Good to hear, love Villeneuve's stuff and setting an afternoon aside next week to see it at the theater.

I really wanted to love Dune but I just didn't. I had zero exposure to anything related to Dune before this. Beautiful to look at but it the story and characters didn't really connect with me. It all felt a bit soulless and tough to fully engage with. I wasn't overly invested with anything going on. Thought Oscar Isaac was the best thing the movie had going for it.
