Well, Porter only gets 207 if he makes an All-NBA team or wins MVP this year. But Giannis gets 228 regardless, that's signed and sealed.

You forgot DPOY lol.

Think I recall someone saying he could extend for 3-yrs $160 million right now though given his current salary and years accrued. I think the odds are still with him re-upping in Brooklyn, but I don't think it's a money issue at all here. I legitimately think Harden wants to keep his options open in the event that this whole Kyrie thing blows up, and/or if they don't win it all this season. All three of those guys don't exactly have the best track record in regards to how they've handled adversity in their careers....

Read on Twitter

I have faith that the refs will do good with this one because its pretty easy to tell the difference between offensive/no call/defensive foul, just needed some clarification to make those calls often I guess. This and the kickout/flopping on jumpshots are the most frustrating foul baiting shots to me because they happen so often.

Read on Twitter

This one will take a few more rule changes. Going off this video, it will continue to be a problem.

Read on Twitter

The nba has been battling this one for years and it's made progress I guess. If I'm not mistaken Booker was called for a kick out on Jrue in the finals or maybe it was a regular season game. The big one for me is the guy falling down on purpose, if they call that a no call consistently then it will be a great change.

Read on Twitter

I don't think they will call these correctly anytime soon and I hate that. To be fair, I would bet some of the hooking and grabbing is hard to differentiate in real time.

Me, like most other people would lock in the money but I assume he knows he’s getting maxed no matter what so he’s shooting for the biggest payday first. He’s staying in Brooklyn, they will do anything to keep Kd and Harden.

Yea one would think any issues in BKN would lead to Kyrie being the one shown the door to fix them, not Harden.

Saw someone on twitter today throw out a Kyrie/Simmons based deal idea and I actually thought, well that kind of makes sense in a lot of ways.

Someone needs to show the NBA how to be better pro-wrestling bookers. They're showing clips from beloved players instead of the obvious mega-heels like Trey, Harden, Kyrie etc. I saw Doncic and Middleton being shown and I was like "great, there goes about 4 ppg for Midds."

How much loyalty could Harden really have to the Nets?

I don’t see him having any qualms about bailing if this season doesn’t meet his expectations for whatever reason.

I'd guess it's more about loyalty to KD than to the Nets. Granted, Harden was traded from OKC but I'm sure KD was against that move, big time. All accounts were/are these guys are good friends. And if you want a title the best guys to pair with are Giannis and KD, LBJ but that has a very limited shelf life right now. Go some place else and now he has to go up against those guys.

Dude sure does have Miami written all over him doesn't he?

He's originally from LA, would be funny if he demands there and a Westbrook trade for him has to happen. Re-uniting KD and RW. BKN obviously would have to make it a 3 team though. PG13 based trade could work too to get to LA

I’ve always wanted the OKC big 3 to reunite.

Something I always think about is if Giannis and Embiid were drafted by the same team. Would they have been able to make it work?

Imo, yes.

For the **** we gave Embiid early in his career (social media crap, riding the scooter), he has evolved to become a more mature leader. His comments today on the team catering to Simmons’ weaknesses are devastating. I love it.

The Middleton clip was an example of a non foul.

I'll disagree - because of this comment he made after their game 7 loss - that he contributed to, btw:
“I’ll be honest. I thought the turning point was when we — I don’t know how to say it — is when we had an open shot and we made one free throw…,” Embiid said.

Maybe the Simmons situation would be completely different now if Embiid hadn't said that. Never publicly throw your teammate under the bus like that - even if he's right - especially after he had 8 turnovers himself in both games 6 and 7.

Yeah, Simmons being a bitch doesn't make Embiid any less of an ****.

Was listening to Lowepost last night. No rumor, just discussion of concepts.

Given where GSW is with Wiggins and Philly is with SImmons, it does seem like a Simmons for Wiggins/Wiseman/Kuminga deal could make sense for both clubs. It isn't perfect for Philly, but it is at least value. And GSW really does need to think out of the box, if their goal is get back to the Finals.

I think you'd need a 3rd team where you could move Wiseman and Kuminga for a good but not great player. Because I think Philly would have essentially no use for Wiseman and very little use for Kuminga. Something like:

Philly gets: Wiggins and Buddy Hield
Warriors get: Simmons
Kings get: Wiseman and Kuminga
