And got better the longer it went! One of the best final episodes of a series I've seen. This your first watch, RS? Where are you on it?

Sure why not:

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Sonoya is just awful. Which was too bad. If she hadn't been such a distraction Devs would have been pretty high up on my list of single season SciFi.

Def worth a watch if you like pure sci-fi.

First two episodes of Space Force were not great.

Wife and I recently started Mr. Robot. Just started the final season now. Incredibly eerie to watch given the state of the world.

A lot of talent in front of and behind the camera. Meh results.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Hmm this confirms my watch of the preview and a quick google.

Might skip that one.

Just another PSA that The Last Kingdom is fantastic and everyone should watch.

Late to the game on it, but it hit HBO Max. Search Party definitely worth a watch.

I've heard that from multiple people, I think that will move to the top of my must watch list.

Devs was almost great. I had this conversation with a friend about Sonoya's performance, and he pointed out it's always a combination of acting, directing, editing, etc. I don't like the performance at all, but without a lot to reference in her career (she's had very limited roles in other things I've seen), I'm unwilling to simply say she's terrible.

Spoiler:
Beyond not liking the performance, I think the character of Lily was the biggest problem with the show. Forest, and the actual sci-fi plot were the compelling forces, with Lily's storyline being worse than superfluous - it actively dragged down the rest of the show. For a show so obsessed with causality and determinism, her character's only real purpose seemed to be to offer the script an eject button on its premise. She made a "choice?" Are you kidding me? Garland gazed into the void, and flinched.

Same here. I started it and watched maybe two episodes and got bored but I've read such good things and I respect this boards opinion so I may have to give it another go.

Riot, would you say it started slow in your opinion? Or am I just too ADD?

It definitely starts slow. They spend the first two or three episodes really setting up Uhtred's backstory before you get to odyssey with him.

Spoiler:
It's very relationship driven. Uhtred's relationships with Brida and their clashing ideals, Alfred the Great, Leofric, etc. The action does pick up though, and Uhtred is badass.

Seasons two and three are so good. Just wrapped up season four last week-- my fiancee and I are going through withdrawals. We like it better than Thrones (even early Thrones).

One very appreciable thing about The Office: they consistently nail the big moments.

Some shows don't age well. This one is still funny as hell.

Disappointing season finale for Killing Eve to cap off a disappointing season. Jodie Comer is still incredible as Villanelle, but these past two seasons have been not up to par, mainly due to not being able to sustain the breakneck pace of season 1.
