Any good Thai places in the Milwaukee area? I like The King and I but I want to try some new places.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Not Thai, but throwing out a random Vietnamese place. It's a really weird shady market that sells Pho and other stuff.
Its on Winfield in a really large plain concrete building. First time i went a couple years ago I thought there was nothing there but saw a bunch of cars so I wandered in. Locals chilling with 30 racks in the community center eating pho and no one spoke english.
It's gotten a little more commercialized with like 6 stands now that sell different stuff.

Good pho is one of the world's best foods. When I find a good pho spot I'll often just order the broth to go and freeze it. It's cheaper and easier than making a quart of it myself.

Made 2k on FanDuel tonight. 1st in the late night squeeze $5.55 entry)
Thanks to the brewers and chris fing Taylor single in the 9th. Used to be pretty high volume in NBA, guessing top 10 in wi. Nice to finally bink one randomly. I've had some way bigger wins in NBA but just missed massive wins.

Maybe take wife to the finals if we make it. Or put it towards the new house we are trying to build... Tough decision.

Congrats. Pulled $7k last week. Was hoping to go on a heater, but been cold ever since. Tough to differentiate and still make money in these NBA Showdown slates. I never seem to get baseball right, but did pretty well in golf this past weekend.

I played nfl when there was an edge and nba when the edge was huge. NBA used to have nothing online, so it was every person with their own knowledge. Add people not paying attention to news and fd not showing people being out, money was easy. Too bad for me I was young, not super risky and didn't have a ton of money. I can't complain though, I did quite well and if anyone who knew me and knew how much I was playing a week, they would have been shocked. Now I play like the lottery pretty much. I have a family too, so can't be risking to much and the edge is gone.
I got invited to a suite at the Bradley center once by fd but I work 3rd and couldn't make it. To be honest, me and other 20-30yr old nerds checking their phones and sitting together doesn't sound that great anyways. I really think I was an outlier though. I started with less than $100 dollars and never put more in. Accidentally did a $50 man NFL game and the rest is history.. NBA is really where I made my money. I won the $5 single entry twice and top 5 and 10 in the slam a couple times, as well as other random tourny cashes. Always considered myself a single entry cash player though and you just can't do that anymore. Just missed huge payouts a couple times. A couple years ago, I was on a losing streak but had tickets in the slam. I didn't play rose who was close to 50 percent owned. He got hurt, and I took top 5. Would have took 1st if Danny green would have made one more 3. I was watching the game as he debating taking it but pulled it out to run the clock. Everyone has their bad beat stories. The real sweats are super fun. Wish I could have been watching the dodger game tonight to see the c Taylor hit that won me 2k but was still fun to see it come across.

I get so excited for all these athletes as they finish qualifying and learn that they've made the Olympic team. That must be an amazing feeling.
ETA: I know it's been a while since we last did this, so if you don't recall, I am obsessed with the Olympics and will post about it heavily.

Sorry MD, late here, but Thai Bangkok Express, their sister Thai Bangkok, and Kim’s Thai are my favorites!

Does anyone have a wing recipe they swear by? For the Bucks game on Sunday we're having a wing competition. Baked, fried, smoked, sous vide, whatever. I have one I'm confident in, and this looks legit, but I need to win this motherfu*ker and I'm open to suggestions.

That looks like a good recipe. I prefer grilled wings and I basically do them the same way. Type of sauce is just personal preference but I put Cavenders All Purpose Greek Seasoning on mine before they go on the grill.

Used to go to Thai Kitchen on Oakland. Nothing fancy, but hearty. I think it still looks like same owners?

I forgot about that place. I've been there but not for awhile. Had some great lunch specials.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

They’re good too but they’re also not open on the weekend. Ee Sane on Farewell can be hit or miss. Still prefer Thai Bangkok Express, though that may be farther than you’re willing to go (92nd and Capitol).

I wholeheartedly second Thai Bangkok Express. Anytime I know I have to be in that area, I purposely schedule for around lunch time. **** outstanding.
I almost OD'd on that place when my niece went to DSHA and I picked her up all the time.

I’ve been eating them since they had a place in Thiensville. Then later found out, after that closed, they had a placed on 91st and brown deer. They then opened Express too. I literally go almost every Friday and get two entrees to last me through Sunday

If you’ve never tried Kim’s Thai, in Franklin, I also highly recommend it.
I could literally eat a Thai curry dish everyday if my life lol

Smoke them and then finish them on the grill to crisp them up. This stuff is pretty awesome on everything too and they have it at HyVee or any Ace or True Value usually.

Cool. Gonna pick some of that stuff for my next batch.
But yea, I'm gonna go with the recipe in that link. I have hot honey I'm gonna use instead of regular honey, and I'm gonna try substituting apple pie moonshine instead of apple juice. If it doesn't work I still have apple cider as a backup, but the apple pie I think sounds good.
