I always find it interesting that people accuse Giannis of being dumb because he sometimes plays PG without ever presenting a stat that shows this is ineffective.

If this board could be transported to the Bronx in 1927, what complaints there would be about Ray Morehart and Joe Dugan being in the lineup.

Look up Dame's last 5 preseasons and all your worries will go away. Like others have said, growing pains will come.

I remember the big 3 heat started 8-8 or something like that. Then went to the finals.

The Bucks went 0-3 and lost all 3 by double digits in 2020-21 in the preseason

Last year we were 0-5 in the preseason.

Last year in the preseason Lillard, with the familiar teammates and coaching staff, played 3 games. They lost all 3 and he shot 13-33 overall. This year, with all new teammates and coaching staff he's played 2 games, and shooting worse (oh no!).

The time to "panic" is midseason, not 9 days before the first RS game.

Boston was 25-25 a couple years ago and came within 2 games of the 1-seed and made it to the Finals and if they hadn't gone ice cold in the last 5 minutes of Game 4 probably would've won the title.

I'm certainly not hoping for something like that, but I'm not super concerned about that many teams in the East. Maybe the Heat can sprinkle some of their magic on Jovic and the Heat can be a legitimate number 3, and/or maybe Mobley takes a big step forward as an offensive player and the Cavs become a legitimate threat. But as it stands right now the Bucks and Celtics are a cut above everyone else in the conference and even if the Bucks have a slow start and end up in the 3-seed, that could very well still be the case.
