If he can become a little stronger at the basket and on the ball defense in turn, he may win conference POY in the next 2 years.

They don't have anyone who can hit shots besides Pettaway. And he's not that good.

Shields is a decent player, if anyone should be jacking up shots it's him. But yeah, they mostly suck.

It's kind of worrisome, especially with the home crowd, and the foul calls that trailing teams get in the B1G, that Nebraska will chuck their way back into this. Yes, the shot selection seems horrible, but Petteway and company can make 30+ in a half with that crap if they're on, so we need to be ourselves, and stay controlled aggressive. We didn't pull away as much as we should have.

Sam has been beastly in spite of nagging injuries and adjusting to the new body. He's going to be a major asset for someone, either us or a pro team, when he has a little time and can put it all together.

Nebraska has done a great job defensively slowing us down. They've just been so pathetic on the offensive end that it hasn't mattered yet. I agree this has a chance to get interesting. The crowd wants to get into it.

Way too much aimless passing with a lead and missing bunnies. I feel like we had the former happen a lot there last year.

Petteway is an arse. He's just shooting every time he gets it regardless if there's a defender there, often times running straight thru them. And he should have gotten at least one tech so far.

They've done a great job limiting Kaminsky tonight.

LOL @ the makeup call there after the Kaminsky debacle.

Nebraska basically wins over the course of the season solely if Petteway can hit shots I'd imagine. They bring great defense every night but have nothing on offense.

I feel like I rarely see the Badgers clicking on all cylinders. Really frustrating.

Our team demeanor is so interesting. It's so relaxed, sometimes almost too relaxed.

I feel like the individual talent just doesn't transfer over to team play on a regular basis.

I'll take any sort of win @Nebraska. Tough environment. Hopefully Dekker is good to go as the season goes by.

I know what you mean but at the same time we're 22-2 and the offense is scoring with record setting efficiency. A lot of teams won't play us in a straight man to man anymore.

That was stressful. This team could use a better killer instinct and of course bench (2 pts tonight I think, Dukan where have you gone?). There is a tendency to miss bunnies, just sit on big leads, and then tighten up with to's, missed ft's, reckless fouls, etc. down the stretch of games to make games much closer than they should. Just keep playing the way that got you there, I say.

The bigger tendency is that this is really an average team defensively.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I hear you... It just feels like a letdown waiting to happen.

The fact that Dukan has gone AWOL in conference play is concerning for their Final Four prospects, especially if Tre doesn't come back 100%. Should run through the BIG though.
