Crawford hasn't been useful for years

Dirk giving away millions just so Cuban could give Harrison Barnes a max contract.

I agree... but man you can't go 3 for 21 on free throws in the playoffs

This. Having an offensive liability in today's game is just too much to overcome in my opinion. Think DeAndre, Roberson, MCW. I shy away from players like that, mostly because it frustrates the hell out of me.

While it's true that the only thing DeAndre Jordan can do is dunk, he's far from an offensive liability.

As long as you have a dude who can pick and roll with Jordan he's good

Pretty sure a lot goes on under the table. Even at this point in his career, someone would throw the max at Dirk.

Think we could trade Tractor Traylor for him?

Because of his contract, I'd like to see them make a run at Crowder but don't see it happening at all. Would certainly give up a future first for him, potentially a second with some protection on it.

Re: Boston Trades

They need to trade one of Smart/AB/Crowder to make cap space for Hayward. So they aren't taking back salary; they are just trying to get the best draft pick value possible. We cannot take more salary than we give out by 25% so we CANNOT trade for Crowder or AB. However, we COULD (theoretically of course) use the Hibbert TPE (and a 1st to) trade for Smart (who will be a RFA next offseason). That's almost a reasonable thing to do outside of the fact that we would then need to pay him/Bari this offseason and have no money for either much less both.

Realgm trade checker allowed the trade between

Vaughn and Crowder

Can you confirm ? Is it legal ?

Of course we will attach 1st(s) to get it done.
The salary difference is 4.9M , right about Smart's salary.

It is not legal (I believe). They have changed the rules on them to a small degree and I can't get clarification on something but it does not work on ESPN trade and I don't believe it works via CBA (but not 100%).

Spurs go from being a serious option for Chris Paul to Rudy Gay coming off a torn Achilles. Those unlucky bastards with still win 60 games though.

VC to Sacramento. WTF is he doing? I'm sure he's making more than a true contendor could have given him ($8M), but don't you have enough in the bank at this point to take a discount and try and get a ring?

And Rudy will probably be an unselfish, efficient 18ppg player. We know that's how this will shake out.

One of my favorite things about this forum is how "stupid" the Bucks would be to entertain the idea of "stupid player x" only to watch GSW and SA sign Javale McGee and Rudy Gay respectfully.
