I reached level 99 in Nioh 2, two bosses left, and I completely respect'd my character because he was too squishy. Would one-hit die. I have no idea what I'm doing now.

Bought 12,000 turnips at 90bells per today. If I hit another crazy number I’ll be rolling in it, but even just double will make me another million.

I got about 2500 turnips myself - all the funds I had, and I 'farmed' a lot today to get a big chunk of the money (pear beds were the hot item of the day, which was perfect). Hitting even 50% again would be a big help in getting some needed infrastructure sorted out.

P.S. BUNNY DAY IS ALMOST OVER!

Bought 125,000 worth of turnips, I was able to get a 200+ per turnip price, that's all I'm shooting for.

Probably won't hop on until tomorrow to avoid bunny.

I stopped at 6000 turnips only because I was getting annoyed with managing inventory. By the way that's exactly how many turnips you can fit in the upstairs room if you cover every available surface.

102 hours and finished with Persona 5 R.

Didn't think I'd feel it again for a game with 80% the same story, but I'm in the existential funk I experience whenever you finish a good story and know it's the last you'll ever learn about the world/characters/plot.

Im looking to get my kids ages 10 and 8 either an Xbox one or a PS4.

Are they basically the same, or is there an advantage over the other? It would be hooked up to a 1080p screen, don't need it for streaming movies or anything. Just strictly games

I have all three major consoles and the PS4 gets the most use by a massive margin. That said, Xbox Gamepass is pretty excellent. If you don't have a Switch, though, that may be the way to go, since the games are mostly geared towards kids. I never use mine, though.

Have you looked into building an emulation station with a Raspberry Pi? Or an SNES or NES Classic? My brother has one and his younger kids LOVE playing old school games like Mario Bros.

Thanks! Switch seems to be more expensive than the others. Their allowance money and my wife and I would pick up the other half, so we're looking $200-$250 range ish for a used GameStop one.

We have a ild N64 from when I was in highschool, but they are wanting to get into the newer 2k games and stuff.

No real difference. Pretty much just comes down to what exclusive titles they want and what system their friends have so they can play together online. My 7, 10 & 12yr old favor PS4 over the Xbox but I'm guessing that's just because their friends and cousins are also on PS4. My kids mainly just play Fortnite, Minecraft and Roblox, all three games are available on multiple platforms. The 10 & 12yr old are actually playing the Switch now more than anything because of Animal Crossing and Undertale.

This, if you can find out what their friends have you'll be mostly set with either system. Most of the big titles are crossplatform like 2K, Madden, Call of Duty.

I have all three and a gaming PC. I go in waves of playing Switch, PC, and PS4. With Xbox Game Pass on PC I have no reason to even power my Xbox on.

Alright, I'm ~16 hours into FF7R, and I'm loving. This is their best combat system in years, and they've nailed the characters so far. I could do without a few of the more tedious puzzles, but overall I'm pretty darn pleased.

So, I'm dying to talk about some of the changes/tweaks that I've noticed up to Chapter 9 (Wall Market).

Spoiler:
I'm very intrigued by the "dementors" and the tentative connection that's been made between them and the apparent flash-forwards Cloud's having. He had the trigger-induced flashbacks in the original, but there have been two flash-forwards that sent a chill down my spine. First, when Cloud meets Aerith in the church, and glimpses the Holy materia falling into the water in the City of the Ancients. Second, on the road to Sector 5, when he sees Aerith walking in front of him, and he starts crying.

Are we in a secret frame narrative? Is this actually a sequel? Is this some Evangelion-like "rebuild" of the original narrative? Are they just yanking at the heart-strings of FF7 vets? I suspect it will be (more) clear by the end of the game, but Square has my attention. It feels like this story is aware of its lineage.

Spoiler:
The flash forward to Aerith's death was crazy! I thought I mis-saw or misinterpreted what I had seen. Haven't gotten to the second flash forward yet; I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.

I think it's likely added narrative/rebuild of the original, but yeah we'll see.

Looking to get a PS4 pretty much only to play a couple games (MLB Show and FF7R). Is Slim the way to go? I'm not too educated on the differences between the stripped down versions of the major consoles, other than the obvious (hard drive and memory storage being smaller).

One of my friends has 523 for their turnip price. So that's a cool 6,000,000 coming my way right now. I'm Animal Crossing rich.

But like, turnips are way worse than radishes, right?

Good god man, are your friends the people that made the game or something?! The highest price I've seen at my island so far is 32 lmao. I thankfully was able to lock in profits at a friend's island where they were selling for 140.

There’s a tool to get an idea on your prices for the week. We’ve been using it to make projections on who will have the best price when to sell.
