I don’t think I’ve disliked a player this much since DJ Wilson.

It's better to keep good players.

In general I agree, but I’m not sure that actually applies in this circumstance.

Jordan Nwora does not play winning basketball.

High efficiency scoring helps teams win. He just averaged 22 points per 36 on 59TS%, as a rookie. He spaces the floor, he rebounds. Those are winning traits

I think his lack of another skill set is the issue. Though I agree, can’t trade him now, let him build up his resume a bit in the regular season before we do. Actually see him as a potential Rodney Hood honestly, an all offensive wing who doesn’t have the defensive instincts to see the floor for heavy minutes, but again, we can’t trade him, he hasn’t built up any value yet,

I mean, hell, he could be Bryn Forbes part 2 for us but with size. We haven’t seen his value in the rotation with winning players yet. All we know is he can score,

Not a good thing. Baseball payroll super high, plus it is hard for owners to float two good teams at the same time. They usually like one’s peak to offset the other’s valley when they rebuild.

Keep Donte for now, waive Elijah, sign Thanasis.

Jordan Nwora isn't good just like Sam Merrill isn't good.

We just watched Forbes play on a championship team. Both of these players are better than him.

Except that they weren't. Your assertion that either player is better is based on speculation, not reality. What you ACTUALLY saw was Bryn Forbes play winning basketball with a winning basketball team in the rotation. You've never seen that from Nwora.

fansinceforever wrote:The flip on Nwora is way too reactionary. He might be the only legitimate NBA player on the floor for us. It entirely possible they asked him to hunt for his own looks so they can get different looks at how he handles them.

The guy has lit it up in real NBA games and is 22. Let's maybe not bury him just yet.

When Nwora had meaningful minutes in a NBA game last season, he played well. It'd be great to have more scoring from the bench this season.

Wes Edens is also co-owner of Aston Villa, an English Premier League team. So he's experienced in owning a pro-soccer team.

I think Jared Dudley legitimately believes the stuff he tweeted and I do think Kidd had a positive impact on Giannis. He clearly had a very negative impact on some others though. Like I said, Kidd only has (or had) one pitch as a coach and it’s a harsh method that simply won’t work with a lot of people. Bad trait to have in a coach.

Re: Nwora, I will gladly make fun of the way he’s playing in summer league, but if you look around the league, he isn’t exactly alone. Pretty much any player with a pulse is gunning for their own shot like he is, even guys that we know are good teammates like Desmond Bane. If he’s playing this way when he’s on the floor with Giannis, it’s a major problem. I don’t care that much if it’s how he plays when he’s on the court with Theo Pinson and Mamu. It’s a bit annoying but not necessarily an indicator that he can’t play a more unselfish way.

No idea how the financials work out but if there's a team that'd be interested in Nwora in return for a PF/C that would be great. I don't see Nwora cracking top 8 rotation come playoffs this year or next with our core + vet minimums every year.

Lmao don't disagree but him punishing Thon for having an Android is hilarious. Probably what stopped him from turning into KG

Thanos back as the 15 would be a lot of fun and he would be useful in the regular season.

He was counting hundreds while Giannis was trying to shoot during the finals.
