I actually went to Milwaukee a couple of weeks ago! Unfortunately it was to give tech support to one of our costumers so I didn’t have a lot of time to sightsee but the weather was really nice and I enjoyed the architecture and the overall wisconsins calm landscapes (although the trip wasn’t as helpful as I hoped)
Is it normal that you have so few people in the streets downtown in the afternoon even when the weather is so nice? Compared to what I’m used to in Europe (or even to Chicago that is only 2h away). Is it a public transportation fault, lack of tourism or just culture?
Oh and it was funny for me being sincere about being a bucks fans and the people on the factory we visited just thought I was blowing smoke just to please them and not believing I was a bucks fan at all.

Most of the offices downtown are now WFH or WFH hybrid. I work downtown and have worked downtown off and on over the years, but am rarely there anymore. When I am in the office downtown is a very sparse now days.

I've heard Minneapolis is the same way.
