Again, most of the annoyance is the fact that he can’t stay healthy for the team that pays him 50-60 million dollars annually.

You guys are so sensitive whenever someone has a slight critique towards giannis. It’s cute.

Well that isn't at all what you said originally lol. You called out his energy level and urgency relative to when he's playing for the Bucks.

Certainly part of it. Goes all out now. Can’t go at all when we need him.

And was that GreeceNT fault? May I remind you that summer of 2023 Giannis rested and did not participate to the world cup. If you think that the calf injury was due to fatigue then all of it is attributed to his efforts in Bucks regular season games. Personally, I do not believe it is the Bucks' staff fault for not managing him better. If anything, I would like him to give even less effort in RS games in order to conserve his body. But, It is sport. Injuries happen. Try to be realistic with your expectations.

Tell me he’s the same player you’re watching today.

And another big part of it is it’s annoying to see this level of energy and aggression when he’s hurt every postseason and never takes the opportunity to heal.

You have no idea what you're looking at man

Reminder: The last time we saw Giannis at near full strength for the playoffs is when he carried the team without Midds to 7 against Boston and averaged 34/15/7.

Yet another super cool Bud series where we have a 3-2 lead and despite having a massive frontcourt advantage in Giannis-Brook-Portis vs Grant Williams-Al Horford-Dan Theis, we get blown out in the two decisive games by jacking up 11/62 from three (17.7%). Letting it fly.

He played about 2200 regular season minutes that year. That was the most he played under Bud. In contrast this year he led the NBA in minutes played at the all-star break.
His lower body can't take the minutes. Needs to be cut back no matter the playoff seeding implications. No coaching carousel this year so this shouldn't be a problem.

Think it's because of the direction in which time moves.

Giannis seems frustrated with the Croatian wall. Fortunately his mid range is passable today and the rest of the team plays well.

Wish I could watch. Just saw the Zubac quote about wanting the matchup badly.

The worst player on Greek team imo

Zubac won't try to contest Giannis high. Just positions himself correctly and keeps his hands vertically. If the basket falls so be it, but he won't foul.

But he also has it not easy as at least 2 players swarm him as soon he touches the ball

Right after that post Zubac drew an and1 off Giannis fresh from the bench (play by play). Giannis misses a shot, Croatia gets a 3 from Dreznjak.

Giannis hits next shot. And Papanikolau closes the 1st half with a 3. Greece back up 6 halftime. 39-45.

Greece has no chance playing big against Zubac, Saric & Hezonia, they must play small with Giannis as 5 and shooters as the focal point of the offence.
