I don't think you can call Sessions one of hte best young point guards in the game in one breath and then cite Ridnour and Ukic as reasons why we can't resign him.

My concern with Sessions is the amount of years---if it's two years guaranteed iwht team options for 3rd and 4th then I would hope we'd find a way to keep him (presuming he's making between $3-4 mill throughout).

I remember the Bucks' beat writers saying that we wouldn't match Bell right up until we did....

Despite how often Woelfel has been wrong, I'm thinking that this offer sheet will be a go.

The Wolves have egg all over their faces for hte Rubio situation, and picking up Sessions the same week would help them a whole lot. It'd also give tehm a ton more leverage if they decide to trade Rubio, and considering Sessions' would complement Flynn much better that could quickly become the plan.

Ramon and Chubby have held off all offseason from signing deals in this range, but at this point NOBODY else seems willing to bend and offer him more. Its either bend your pride and take the lessor deal or accept the QO for one season. He doesn't have a whole lot of other choices at this point.

If I were him, I wouldn't take a deal with Minny that went longer than a couple of years.

Rubio and Flynn are probably the future there long term if they can ever convince Rubio to let go of the apron strings. We'll see though.. I don't think this is the ideal situation for Sessions regardless of his "fit" with Flynn. Again, sucks to be Sessions because he had his mind set on playing for a playoff bound team..

GMs like their own players. Ramon is Larry Harris era. I think he is gone.

I don't think that Sessions can have two option years. Only the last year of the contract can have an option.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

That's not necessarily true. Ersan is a Harris guy, seems Hammond/Skiles like him too.

Good call. I posted in the Minny thread that he probably had an ETO after 2 years, but you can only have those after the 4th (or later) year of a contract. Either the last year is a PO or TO or nothing, it would seem.

Its weird that he was looking at the Bucks, Knicks, and Clippers then. 8-)

Well, I seem to be getting dragged through the mud again in this thread. I guess its the typical Bucks montra. Ignore everythign positive I have shared and extrapolate the negative thing.

ANYWAYS....

The NYK offered junk basically. There was involvement with Lee and Gadz was included but it never came close enough to be considered very serious. The Clips thing fell apart cuz quite frankly no one wants to give Ramon money. Thornton was the target in the LAC talks.

IF Minny is offering the deal i was told. The Bucks will not match.

The D'Antoni's have a lot of faith in him so going over there for one season, and possibly getting to play with Wade, LeBron, Bosh etc. after only one season is probably appealing to him. The Clips could be a playoff team if they could have pull it together.

As is Bogut. If Sessions walks, we'll have Bell, Redd, Bogut and Gadz as the only remaining players from the Larry K. Experience. Probably not the quartet most of us would've picked.

If this ends up being a 4/$16 offer, I'd hope we'd match. But I think Wichmae's take is spot on. I fear we'll let him walk.

If we wouldn't match a deal starting at just over 3 mil...

you know what, its been said way too often. I don't see how anyone can have faith in Hammond. Whether you think hes a good fit or not, you don't let young talent walk on a bargain basement contract.

You mean to tell me that the bucks feel Sessions is a more capable starter/backup then Ridnour yet their unwilling to offer him ANYTHING but the QO ? That makes zero sense. If Ramon is back the only way he sees the court is because of an injury. Mark it down. Youve been dead wrong on Ramon thruout this whole process so please stop telling us all whats " going to happen " in regards to the pg situation. Youre like the Rob Deer of predictions , you just keep swinging as hard as u can and getting nothing .

Watch and see , if Ramon comes back hes going to be backing the 3rd string pg , will see very little PT . The only way that DOESNT happen is if BJ is worse then were all anticipating , that is possible but that would be disastorious. A guy that couldnt even get an NBA contract ( Ramon ) beats out our lottery pick . Sad times for bucks fans if that happens.

Just because you spend a lot of time arguing it passionately doesn't mean it's any more likely to go how you want.

Ramon and BJ will get pretty much all the minutes at PG. Ukic is a non-factor. Ridnour will be dealt. Even if Ridnour stays, he will be the 3rd string PG only put in to punish Ramon/BJ when they're playing poorly.
BDUB is right! And this is coming from a fan who has been right on throughtout this entire process! I told you he has no value. Kohl should not have nixed that deal he had with Memphis for Mike Conley...
