What I can't get over is the fact that suits essentially never get get washed in their lifetime, only sprayed with steam and chemicals but never actually washed, until they become a nice mix of polyester, chemicals and balls sweat LOL. I hate suits, I swear it has literally affected my career path that I have subconsciously avoided positions where I'd have to wear a suit. Uncomfortable, disgusting, and they leave exposed the parts of the body where it's most annoying to feel cold, the chest and belly.

Your first mistake is buying polyester suits. You should only by wool or, at worse, a wool blend that has a bit of give.

A good suit (not necessarily expensive) fits well and is comfortable.
Wool or not I'm still not gonna put it in the wash, am I? Steam clean = spray with steam and chemicals = no thanks

And polyester is there for a reason, it helps the suit keep it's shape, trying to keep a wool suit from becoming a crinkled mess is a whole other rabbit hole. Remember I actually work in my clothes, I dont just stand there holding a martini.

And what about the totally unjustified gap in exactly the parts of my body I try to keep warm? LOL

Noticed my almost 4 year old corgi limping as of late, thought maybe it would go away and was just a pulled muscle or tweaked joint. It never did and got seemingly worse. Took her in yesterday and found out she has arthritis in both her front elbows. It’s incredibly sad. It’s most likely due to genetics (corgis aren’t normal ha).

She’s on pain meds for now, and we’re starting joint supplements and fish oil per the vet. We’re also getting real strict with her diet for weight managements. Has anyone else dealt with arthritis in young dogs? Anything work well for you? We’re also considering CBD as we use it ourselves but want to try the other supplements first. Any input would be welcomed.

I don't really have any input other than dogs that are prone to arthritis should be on fish oil and glucosamine from day 1. With Corgis, arthritis is inevitable. She should start feeling better soon. Is she on glucosamine?

I'm on my 2nd Bullmastiff and those guys are extremely prone to arthritis just due to size. Fish oil and glucosamine from day 1. My first one didn't experience any real arthritis until he was 7 (which is pretty much the end of the line for Bullmastiffs). He didn't suffer from it at all really, as he got the inevitable osteosarcoma shortly afterward.

Ordered glucosamine and fish oil last night. The reviews seemed really positive. Saw some of 12 year old dogs now looking spritely again. Wish the vet would've had us on these from the start, also wish I would've known to do this myself.

You live and learn with dogs. I've had 7 dogs as an adult and I feel more prepared to deal with them as I go. You're going to see massive improvement from her going forward. I'm assuming she's at a good weight? That's really the most important thing. I see people walking their obese dogs and feel so bad for the animal. Takes years off their lives and makes their life so much harder. I learned that with my first bullmastiff. He was 165# at his 2 year birthday, which seemed ridiculous to me (my ex-wife thought she knew everything about that dog). He was eating way too much. Got divorced and had him down to 145 in 8 months or so. He was so much happier.

Last October she hit a weight that made me uncomfortable, got her on weight management food and she dropped 4lbs which put her back into "ideal" weight. We also cut out pressed bully sticks and treats in general besides a few small Charlee Bears. She seemed to have more energy and was happy. She's since gained a couple back due to the heat of summer (she just refuses to walk) and me accidentally getting the wrong food once. We're making weight management and her diet a priority even more than we are now.

Hearing that we'll see huge improvements is awesome. I was shook when they told me what it was as I know you can't really cure arthritis. Thanks for the input!

Any of you guys know much about jet skis/PWCs/whatever you want to refer to them as? Thinking about getting a Sea Doo but can't decide if I should avoid the supercharged ones or if that's what I should go with. I'm really torn between the increased performance versus the better fuel economy and what appears to be better reliability/lower maintenance costs.

Everyone go here and find out if you're eligible for $125 or more because of the Equifax data breach in 2017. Technically you can only get that cash if you've already got credit monitoring, but you can just get it for free from Credit Karma.

Go get that bread.

Thanks for posting this. My information was leaked in the hack, so I signed up for the extended monitoring with the three bureaus and I already have my credit locked at all the major bureaus. My wife had identity theft at the beginning of this year, so we nee to check if Equifax could be responsible for hers as well because we spent a lot of time dealing with all of that.

$125. All square. Good thing those equifax execs were able to sell off 2 million stock before the ish hit the fan! At least they made it out of the trouble, thank heavens.

Also some credit cards have monitoring like Capital One has Credit Wise.

I don't understand anyone who goes to twitter.com as their source for Twitter. It's baffling.

At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I definitely need the glucosamine and fish oil supplements, ordering a shipment after I wake up from my post work slumber.

Also, on a non-religious, but, interesting observation... Vegas has been experiencing a mini plague event. Not that I put any stock into it, but 'some people' are getting a little 'one fifth' because of this... (aka too tense).

It started with an exceptionally long rainy season for the desert. During summer league we had three noticable earthquakes (no damage but certainly felt throughout the valley), a mini heat wave, and now a very curious population explosion of insects notably grasshoppers/locusts and moths. These guys are amazingly abundant, they try to rush artificial light sources... (doorways, patios, and parking lots). As a consequence the collective aviary numbers are increasing at a fascinating rate.

Hank Damnit, I do love science.
I needs shades for this future thing we owning..... 8-) 8-) 8-)
