I don't blame OKC at all for this trade either, they got a king's ransom and after two seasons it was clear OKC's ceiling was a 1st/2nd round exit. Next step trade Westbrook and start the rebuild, they're so far ahead with all these picks they could probably be contending again in 3 years after they draft the next generation.

I shouldn't be surprised but wow is the Raptors board already vicious towards Kawhi for leaving. They brought him in as a 1 year mercenary from the beginning and it worked as well as possible.

Lots of gems in that thread:
-Kawhi is selfish
-The Clippers aren't even that good
-Paul George isn't even that good
-They are going to bring Giannis home
-They need to mold OG Anunoby into the next Kawhi

As the keepers of Giannis I wholeheartedly agree, its one of the reasons I'm glad to see he wants nothing to do with training with Lebron or the other stars each summer. Maybe he can be immune from it all.

Some reports about PG and Russ not getting along have been leaking out since the trade btw, although they seemed pretty close during the playoffs so not sure how much I believe them. I think PG just saw a better situation.
