I don't watch much college ball but reading scouting reports is Jonathon Mogbo a bit like Ajax?

Reminder that Silver split the draft into 2 nights to build "excitement" and then has round 2 starting at 3:00 CDT today.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The difference between having a distinct vision and roster construction philosophy, and a GM who's constantly taking fliers on tools-y guys and hoping they just kinda develop into great players down in the G-league.

I thought one of the knocks on Bud was that he didn't play rookies.

Frankly never really got this criticism when he was with us. He didn't exactly have a lot of young players to work with, but Donte was playing 15 minutes a game his first season and even Diakite was playing 10. Nwora was up to 20 by year two. I imagine it's hard to balance being a title contender with getting minutes for rookies.

He's like Faried with ball-handling and passing.

Was the time set from the get-go or is it so that the draft doesn't overlap with the presidential debate?

Don't know. But the viewership would be higher tonight regardless of counter programming.

Yup. Manimal was my first thought when I watched him. Then I saw the ball handling and passing, and you think there’s really something really weird and potentially awesome there.

There were a lot of knocks on Bud that weren't exactly rooted in reality.

I think he’s a better ball handler and passer than AJAX. I think he has a better feel for the game too.

His size is what really separates him and makes him more likely to be a useful rotational piece.

A little Ben Simmons without the brain lock to his game. Obviously, not as refined nor as tall.

If he’s there I would probably go Filipowski because I think he’s the most skilled guy left and I think he becomes a decent stretch guy with more consistent reps.

It was supposed to be primetime but the debate forced them to move it up. The debate was scheduled after the draft was. Hard to argue to considering the debates are almost always a ratings monster

I really don't think Filipowski will be much, but with the remaining guys, wouldn't complainn too much. Kolek is the only pick that would enrage me, so it probably happens.

Just watched some Mogbo highlights. Can he guard the perimeter? I see why you guys throw out the Faried comp.
