So, are you trying to be ironic or what?

Can't wait for Zanik's first moves so the board can explode in overreaction. Fresh meat.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Are we getting any compensation for Hammond?

We gave up 2 seconds for Jason Kidd for god sakes... that should mean Orlando's 1st this season if we are doing comparisons.

Unless he is garbage. So many NBA GMs are. Odds he sucks are very high.

Especially considering Lasry and Edens hired him.

Yeah, that kind of stuff never happened when Hammond was around.

Wait, whut?!?

So, 100% certainty deal happens while Hammond Bucks GM. Now, said type of deal more likely because he's gone?!?

Fake news.

Yeah... Like you don't understand the dynamic.

There are enough people at odds with one another on the board that you can rely on a freak out no matter what happens.

John Hammond is the voice against trading for Corey Maggette, Stephen Jackson, and Monta Ellis. He is the voice against handing out huge long term contracts to Drew Gooden, John Henson, and Miles Plumlee. He is the voice.....

Fire Kidd and trade for Spoelstra and we can crowd source some funds to build him a statue out in front of the new arena. Man it would be so awesome if he turned out to be elite. Now the question is why isn't Zanik the guy already? Are they negotiating a contract or are they really exploring other options.

So you've given up this silly line of thinking then. Fantastic.

Hammonds first round picks.

Joe Alexander - Played 67 games in the NBA. Bad
Brandon Jennings - Played 4 seasons for the team, traded, turned into a well below average bench guard.
Larry Sanders - Played 5 seasons. Crazy. Out of the league.
Tobias Harris - Played 80 games for team before being traded. Solid versatile tweener.
John Henson - Played 5 seasons. Backup centre.
Giannis Antetokounmpo - Star.
Rashad Vaughn - Behind Jason Terry on the depth chart.
Jabari Parker - Knee injury. Not Embiid.
Thon Maker. Might be the non crazy version of Sanders.

Depending on how you feel about Thon/Tobes there's only one sure fire starter out of 8 picks.

Edited for Jabari.

Thank god he's gone before the Snell/Monroe situation is resolved.

I think you're all a bit rough on Hambone. We all suffered through the Kohl tenure which was just an utter disaster and no doubt Hambone has to take some blame for that.

But he has left the Bucks with a really solid core moving forward. The Bucks still have a ways to go but they've gotten over the major hurdle which is finding the superstar you need to compete. Challenge for the new GM is getting our from the **** contracts Hambone signed, filling out a competent roster around Giannis (and possible finding a new coach).

Hambone didn't leave a perfect situation but he did leave a pretty desirable one for the next Bucks GM.

I feel dirty defending Hambone but I think he deserves more credit than he gets around these parts.

Yeah, the draft savant stuff is way overblown.

People remember Sanders' one lone good year and chalk it up as a huge win, "because no one knew". Well, we had red flag reports re: Sanders from day 1. Part of due diligence. And seriously, he was awful the vast majority of his NBA career.

No one ever mentions that he valued Stephen Jackson's corpse over Klay Thompson in the draft. Or Sam Dalembert's corpse over 2 positions of value in the draft. Or Steve Novaks roster spot over Pat McCaw pick in the draft. These are real, in draft decisions that good GMs don't make.

A Bucks front office position is a much better opportunity since Giannis has emerged.

Hopefully LED have the presence of mind to set
up a power structure that makes sense.

If they get it right now I'm willing to give them a mulligan on the weirdness with Kidd to date.

I didn't know they traded draft picks for those players-(awful red hearing fallacy).

I know anyone not blindly hating Hammond gets your panties in a bunch, but no need to spasm... This is a good day for you.

Not surprised by all the Hammond hate but I'm thankful we didn't fire him when everybody wanted him fired in 2013. Good luck in Orlando.
