Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
By the way, here is a nice piece on Elie Okobo for those interested:
https://www.thestepien.com/2018/02/15/hiding-plain-sight-elie-okobo/
I expect him to go mid/late first so seems to be in our draft range.
Lacks a bit of burst, but otherwhise a very solid PG prospect without major weaknesses.

He's much more imo. About as elite of an athlete as you can be, solid defensive prospect and even if you don't trust the sample on his 3p% his shot isn't broken.

RHJ tested out as the best athlete in his draft class and I think he has better length than Smith but they are very similar players

Duval declaring is interesting. Boom or bust pick.

I really enjoy watching Zhaire Smith play. Not a guy who coasts on his tools.

Still think we need to do whatever we can to get Wendell Carter.

I'm not really on board unless he drops. I mean he could be taken anywhere from 4-9 and trading up there would be a huge investment. While he ticks all the boxes, he's not a game changer for me. There would be other guys I'd try to trade for over him, e.g. JJJ.

Agreed, while he hasn't been playing basketball long he's been well coached and picking up the little things quickly for a young player. His passing shows bbiq potential and I like his football DB nose for the ball.

I like that he's always on the move and is setting back screens. That is a thing a lot of guards never pick up.

When the Sixers get Mikal Bridges with the Lakers pick I'm gunna cry.

But we got the rights to overpay Tony Snell for it.

It's ok, we'll get playoff experience this season that they'll never be able to replicate!

RHJ scored a 38 inch vertical. I'd expect Zhaire Smith to be closer to 45.

42”
-Rondae Hollis-Jefferson performed up to expectations posting a solid maximum vertical leap of 38 inches while posting the 2nd best time in the ¾ court sprint and the 3rd fastest time in the lane agility drill. Often lauded for his potential to guard multiple positions at the next level, the Arizona-product proved that the attributes that give him that potential translate nicely to this setting.
Sykes, Hollis-Jefferson, and Randle all ranked among the top overall performers in the athletic testing portion of this year's combine.

Packers draft room, funny that I don't see any kids
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Elliot Wolf is definitely a Pelegrino guy. Gutekunst Diet Coke. These things mean something!

Re: 2018 NBA Draft Thread
Yep, think I've hit the Horford comp before. Bagley does some impressive stuff, but Carter was the best player and prospect on that team. No major flaws.
