Article from JSonline from a study that Harvard did about small market teams has a quote from Giannis that if the Bucks underperform it will be a harder decision to stay.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Yes, and then after that interview they proceeded to go to the ECF where Giannis himself underperformed.

Didn't realize the timing of that. Good to see the good ol JS being 5 months late to the party for some click bait.

Yeah, it's sad our local paper wants to push this narrative too.

Here is the link:

Interview was done back in March. Old news. Only thing I question is why Harvard is doing studies on NBA free agents. Seems like some bigger fish to fry over in Cambridge.

There's nothing in that interview that should surprise anyone. It's effectively the same thing that Malika reported after we got bounced. But these are the kinds of leaks that will be trickling out until he signs a supermax.

Harvard is a factory for producing finance bros and prolonging the extended childhood of the idle rich. I'd argue the free agency study is a less detrimental waste of resources go Bucks

too bad Lebron is all washed up or the Lakers wouldn't have to fantasize about getting a real superstar. And that Tatum and Brown didn't pan out, and Chicago sucks, Golden State is beatable, etc. Why can't all the big market teams just be AMAZING? :D

"Give us your best player because we are garbage" always seems like a defeatist attitude.

surprised haven't seen any ninnies proposing ridiculous loser trades

"It's a harder decision to resign with a team that is struggling" and water is wet, we went to the ECF and will contend this year. I'm not worried and would rather Giannis walk then give up at getting a championship.

And now the national media runs with the quote like Giannis just said it. Nice job MJS, you’re really reporting relevant news.

Fortunately, the team showed that they're committed to singing superstars like Khris Middleton, so we're good.

Ridiculous for any media to "report" something from 7 months ago as "news".

ETA I took this off the thread title. Not going to give them more clicks.

Sources close to the team state that the Bucks' ownership and it's close ties to the Democratic party leadership is appealing to the President of Basketball Operations of the Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri and his post NBA career plans.

Now XM NBA Radio is running with the story and acting like it was a recent quote. MJS are idiots. It wasn’t news.
