If he does re-sign I think it's far more likely he signs a 1+1 than that five year Supermax.

Yeah. I know ownership is publicly confident he'll sign the supermax and both them and Giannis have said they're all on the same page, but I've always felt a 1+1 is the best case scenario here. I hope he proves me wrong.

Even his "I don't see why not be in Milwaukee for the next 15 years" was very non-committal and heavily caveated. This is how Giannis always answer this question.

If Giannis leaves, I hope Bucks fans don't boo him. He has never lied to us about having intentions to stay.

My gut says he will stay and sign the max.
My heart hopes my gut is right...

Its completely possible that he has no idea what he will do at this time. Im assuming the early exist at least partially damaged his confidence in winning a title in Milwaukee. To what extent is anyone's guess. We are truly in limbo, here. I know uncertainty makes a lot of people uneasy but there are only two ways this shakes out: A. We lose Giannis and its heartbreaking B. Giannis stays and we remain a relevant contender. That uncertainty now is what will make option B so sweet if it comes to fruition. Try to enjoy it.

Giannis publicly saying the Lasry meeting went great seems a lot better than leaking that the Bucks need to do XYZ.

**** that.. if he leaves, his first game back we are going to be cheering every dunk (and also calling him for travels and charges every chance we get). There is not a doubt in my mind we will treat him right.

Trading for Masai?

He hasn’t signed with the Raptors why not make him an offer he can’t refuse with the Bucks?

I'm just curious what he means when he repeatedly says something along the lines of, "As long as we're on the same page and are competing for a championship". That could be as simple as going into the tax and bringing the team back, or it could be a pointed comment about upgrading the personnel across the board.

One thing I'm confident in at this point is the ownership group is going to do whatever Giannis dictates if it means he signs on the line.

Not sure what Giannis' intentions are but hopefully he's at least putting a ton of pressure on himself and the owners to get better.

I haven't watched this one yet but I don't think this was included in the 10 minute TNT video either.

Bucks should have been really proactive and trade for a Superstar since he signed that 100M / 4y contract ... unfortunately the only player they have to show is a massive overpaid Khris who was already here.

So I guess in the meeting Giannis promised he will give his heart and soul next season, once more and the Bucks Org is basically on a one year test - show me status

Who was arguably a top 15 player last season - that may have looked pretty bad to Giannis if they told him Khris was too expensive.

One your second point - none of that has been what was said.

Yeah, as long as he doesn't pull an Anthony Davis, he's fine. And if he leaves, he'll probably have a very good reason, like Bledsoe, Brook, Khris, and Hill all declining next year.

You saying Middleton was a massive overpay is just further confirmation that I made a swell choice putting you on ignore a long time ago.

Not to be repetitive, we have the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD (he is not perfect but he is the best), if our management can't find a way to win at least one championship with the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD on their team, he should leave, and we should leave too.
